Something a little different.

How do you think Ashley's family would react to Shepard being with cerberus and such?

I doubt they know that much about it.  Ash is pretty "need to know" and as close as she is with her family I doubt they know the whole story.  As much as even Ash might want to tell them, how do you explain...EVERYTHING?  Plus Ash strikes me as the "just the facts" type with her family sometimes so as not to worry them.

But I do think she's had some candid conversations with Lynn, who is who I picture her as being closest to.  Lynn probably knows things about Shepard, this whole political ****storm and Cerberus.  But she's a listener (in my mind) and a questioner there to help Ash sort out her own feelings, not impose her own on her.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to learn that Ash's family wasn't as perfect on the surface as she let on.  I mean she didn't really go into it.  But I have several ideas...  Every family has issues.

If she does have family issues it must be pretty heavy stuff, otherwise I'm pretty sure Ash would share it with Shep, I mean she's not one for holding things silent, not in my mind atleast.

@elektrego Posted Image I knew that expression had to be appropriate in some situation!

Ok I have an Ash-tastic question!

For those Femshep players like me who have Ash as the VS and a very good friend. How do YOU want to see their relationship continue in ME3?

For me romance is all well and good, but I also count Ash as a very good friend and needs her help just as much in the war

I hope they stick to the ME1 formula with Ash, you could romance her, but she was also a great friend, you could get along with her both ways and we could develop Shepard by Speaking to her, listing Shepards views and what not. Hopefully she will have tons of dialogue and that she will dominate in combat.

I would like to see the option for femShep and Ash to hook up for the people that want it, BUT only if femShep makes a move on Ash so the character isn't ruined for people that wanted her to remain straight.

I hope she isn't over-sexualised, and it still the same Ash we know and love whilst we also get to see how she has grown and developed as a character, let's see how more mature she is now, how she views the galaxy now ect.

Hmmmm how about the Horizon debacle or the fact of Ash's newly stated Spectre status? I'd love a forgive-and-forget and Shep to be able to work with Ash as Spectres as best friends

Well bioware's said that all realtionships including freindships will be deepened so I'm guessing the friendship path with all characters will have romance length and maybe for a single Shep they'd get to hangout with a friend before the final mission? Icould see the crew having a game of skillian five before getting to the final battle.Posted Image

I think you summed it up very nicely there! I agree. I sincerly hope she won't make a move on femShep, that would seem very out of character to me. (although she has probably changed somewhat since ME1.)

@ADL I think you took me a little too literally Posted Image I was just commenting on her disgusted face.

I'd love to have stuff like that in the game, the crew should socialize more too, Some of the crew having like lunch together, Ash & jacob discussing what's the best  gun. That kind of stuff. Skillian five needs to be in there aswell, playable that'd be awesome.

Actually I'm sure femshep players would love if ashley made a mov eon her. I'm replaying my canon Mshep and her "mini skirt and thigh high boots" line is completely out of left field. Shepard is talking about humanity as a whole but Ashley' mentions that she can be coerced into that outfit by Shepard without any mention of wanting to take her out, so Femshep should get something like that in ME3 so she knows Ashley would be interested the same way Maleshep got. plus most of the people who romance ash only play MShep from what I've seen so if they don't play femshep they won't have to worry about ashly making a move on another female since their already romancing her.

GIven how Ashley is supposed to be the "religious" character (well, her and Thane), I very much hope that she does not have a lesbian romance option. I think the formula of having one straight, one bi, and one gay option per gender for new players (or unfaithful/unattached imported characters) is the way to go.

@ brain: Yes I am glad now, that I kept some "outtakes", too.

I don't know, I didn't take the comment as seriously and I suppose I could get over the fact the I dont see her make a move, but then there are still people who don't want Ash to be s/s at all and if she would be s/s and even make a move on FemShep that would be like insult to injury.

I kinda hope that too.

Ash made moves on dudeshep in ME1, but I dunno... it would seem a bit weird to start the flirting again, they've already had their romance.

We know she loved Shep (Horizon.) So BioWare better focus on mending the relationship in 3. A little flirtings ok if they work things out.

I agree. Though, I personally would get rid of S/S romances. I personally don't like it at all when same sex character makes approaches towards my characters.

It's somewhat sad that there isn't that deep friendships, like in KOTOR, in Mass Effect. It doesn't always have to be about romances.

Also, loving same sex person doesn't mean that he/she is bi/gay. Love is much more than that.

I think some characters at least should be s/s, but it would have helped if there was a choice for straight/gay/bi Shep. But we don't know what Ash's religion exactly is, so how could you conclude that she can't be Bi because of religion?

If we get the s/s romance for Ashley, the first move should be FemShep's, I agree, but once the player is down that road, I don't see, why Ashley shouldn't be a little more hellcat-y agressive like she was with a male Shepard in ME1.

Edit: And of course it is not all about sex, when I say romance. It is just to express that there is one squadmate, npc, whatever, that is more important to your Shepard, than all the others. But still sex is nice, in a variety of ways

i want all kinds of deep social interactions: Friendship, romance, rivalry.
