Well, in ME1 she wasn't bi, so I picture her as a straight character. I don't think they should change her that much....

Also...Yeah...I want BioWare to focus on continuing old romances more than starting up new ones. (Unlikely.)

Yeah. Main!Shep's still waiting on that romance, but very-nearly-main Butcher!Shep considers Ash her best friend and is very much looking forward to the chance to reconcile, and reclaim and deepen the gossipy, supportive friendship they had in ME1. She seemed fairly supportive of the femShep/Liara relationship in ME1, in her slightly snarky way; I wonder if she'll give Butcher!Shep grief for dumping Liara for Thane?

I think the thing for friendship with Shepards (of either gender) will be that... friendShep doesn't get the letter post-Horizon, so things are much more nebulous. You don't know if she's still mad, you don't know what she thought when you died, for all you know she's written you off completely, so I'd expect a femShep or non-romancing dudeShep to approach her a little more cautiously and have a bit more involved of a first conversation with her, to air things out a little more, where a romancing Shep could just be like ... "can we be kissing now?" and sort of work out the rest as they go.

Ashley's sexuality has never been stated so it's not set in stone. Neither has Ashley's religion, herbelief in a higher power does not prevent her form having females towards a female and even if her religion was stated, there are religious homosexual people everywhere. There could be easy explanations as to why She doesn't make a move on femshep, like that Kaidan is interested and Shep seemsot gravitate towards him, Liara makes that assumption. bioware tries to make the Shepard's get equal treatment so since Ash mde aromantic move on Male Shepard without any provocation, she should do the same to femshep now that it's clear that Kaidan and Liara are no threats to her possible feelings (one being dead the other one being told there's nothing there) and it would only be a single femshep, so taken femsheps wouldn't have that problem since Ashley would most likely be dead for the Kaidan romance and possibly alive for the Liara mance. She's not a homewrecker after all.

I am tempted to agree with AD, although the sausy lines between Ash and femshep actually already speak volumes to me in ME1. If she ends up being SS in ME3 I could see that working for her character.

I was bothered by that as well. Why wouldn't you send a friend of yours a letter after a fight like Horizon? I does make it seem as though the VS doesn't care about Shepard if they hadn't slept together which I hope is not the case.

The meaning of 'spooning' was pretty clear to me before it came up...From now on though I will always have multiple thoughts when someone will say spooning...
Talking about multiple and spoons...Is Ash that kinky though?

I don't particularly see Ash as the "kink" type.  Enthusiastic, fervent, energetic with some killer moves and a good imagination surely.  But when I think of kink I can't really picture Ash in leather masks, being into "breath play" or anything off the main road really.  Which is not to say she's vanilla or unadventurous, just not necessarily into the more...."deviant"? side of things?

(I say deviant because it was the only word I could think of, but I make no judgements about any of that stuff. Whatever floats your boat, folks).

hahaha don't run! this is the stuff we need to talk about!

It's better to explore this stuff so no one gets caught off guard with anyhting in ME3 like Shepard walking along in the ship then Ash grabbing them and pulling them into some closet for a private inspection.

And I think that there is no way that ash would whut down romance all the way. That would be punishing the players who romanced ashley and stayed faithfull. They want to reward us for that commitment not punish.

Yeah I don't know about "hard" kink. I bet she'd get a kick out of cuffing Shepard to the bed, though.
