Well, it's better to speak your mind free of pc than to hide your oppinion until it's too late to tell anyone.

Just my interpretation. Guess why I love Ash? She sh*ts on political correctness. If she hates something, she'll tell you. If she dislikes your actions, she'll tell you. If you have bad breath, Ash will tell you.

But she also will tell you that you come with a great ass and some sexy abs. And pulls you at your boxers into her arms.

Ah. Sorry to hear that then. Germany, huh? Cool, cool. I think I saw a couple other Ash fans are from Russia and Great Britain? Not just the Americanos obsessed with the ol' Mass Effect, then. 

While Ash digs on poetry, I always took her for a techno gal like me. Need some good beats going to spend hours in the armory cleaning weapons. Or maybe classical music. Cultured tastes with a foul mouth. The best kind of Williams.
Ash really must've taken some serious therapy to override her bluntness in order to become a CO.

Well, one of my big dreams is to move to USA one day so ... guess what. Okay, it's more or less either Eastern Coast OR California, but who who knows. I'm 30, I'm young, I still can do that. Also heard Europs have a decent chance with the girls


ME is quite popular in Europe. Know several guys playing it, figures. Yeah, we do have a -really- living community here, 'though I don't like to write & talk in German in the WWW. 'nuff said. And don't get me wrong - my English isn't that good in case I have to use the spoken word ^^


Dunno if Ash loves techno. Maybe, maybe not, but she definitely has a thing for classics. Also she's a bit nerdy in my headcanon, sharing some traits with Shepard too. For example, she watches ancient SciFi series, enjoys reading books (real ones, paper!), writes (bad) poetry on her own ... yeah, pretty much this. It's hard to describe to anyone, but I used Ashley's original character as template and added many new traits and created a "headcanon Ashley" that pretty much reflects my perfect dream of a woman. God thanks her original traits are still there ...

One funny thing: Ashley HATES shopping. She does it sometimes, but can't take more than 2 hours or so. A bit like my sis, she hates shopping too.

Although I have used bits and pieces of various fanfics and other people's headcanon to fill in some blanks. I'm not terribly original when it comes to writing, always found it fascinating and I love stories.

@El Capitan: California is pretty great. I'm pondering a move there myself because I miss some friends. I'm 29, so I feel ya. Just old enough to have disposable income and do whatevs. Haven't traveled to the East Coast much, or at least the big cities like New York or Boston. Can't really say EVERYONE SHOULD LIVE IN MARYLAND OR VIRGINIA.

I can see how shopping would be a waste of time for Ash. For a career soldier with everything provided by the military, shopping would be tedious. Except for guns. I bet she'd spend hours drooling over new rifles and mods.

Same here. I generally only think specific personality quirks if it might help color a story bit better. With established canon like Mass Effect it's so easy to adjust their template characters to be more. I'm pretty unoriginal too, actually, but in my profession I at least have the practice to take something that works and keep spinning on it to make it work better. Part of the fun, really.

Oh yeah, we have many different cultures and people here, that's awesome. =)

About headcanon... I can imagine anything I want, but it's still not in game so... I just don't feel it like serious, honesty. Some people really like to use headcanons and this is good, but it's not me... I want official information. But sometimes I really trying to rebuild some holes in the story, just for fun, but I don't taking it serious as I said.

Ehehe You won't find many atheists in the Southern, so if I ever move to USA, I'll make sure it's a bit more liberal in the neighborhood.

First need to win a Greencard. Or marry. Meh. I'm engaged already ... so no deal. Not now ^^ Still need to tell my girl I want to move only one more time - either back to my home city or to USA. She won't take it well 'though.

Whatever, time to flee. It's nearly 2am here and need to get up early. Sleep well, fellow Ash fans



BTW: believe it or not, I'm gonna miss the internationality of the company I'm working for (Nokia). I'm going to leave in two weeks, means, no more Italians, Spaniards, Columbians (nearly fell in love with that Columbian girl), ... ugh. We even have a Mr. William Smith from USA ^^

reading the dialouge stuff in the code that was hitten, some of the lines sounded really flirtyness that could of come from the LI. i guess will find out all in due time, hope it isn't to far off.
