It's better to explore this stuff so no one gets caught off guard with anyhting in ME3 like Shepard walking along in the ship then Ash grabbing them and pulling them into some closet for a private inspection.

Shep and Ash don't like to share bedroom secrets lol, BUT! I'm almost 97% sure that no whips...or ...toys? were involved. LOL

They all ready have the essentials.

Well they did have that month between both games. They might not have had it before Ilos but...Shepard does have a couple of favorite stores on the citadel, if you know what I mean.

I know that post's from a while ago. I've just been skimming through this thread, not reading everything - too many pages - so dunno if anyones suggested what I'm about to.

What about Erica Durance? She's a decent actress and to me looks quite like Ash. 

To be honest however I wouldn't mind someone who doesn't look like her being cast so long as they are good at what they do and give a good performance.

I still think Erica Cerra is exactly what Ash looks like, but Erica Dunce is also a good choice.

Cerra looks like Ash in that photo but I don't think she does in other ones I've seen. Plus her (her being Durance) portrayal of Lois isn't a kick in the arse off Ash.

I'm kinda with this.  There's nothing "boring" about it but neither one of them strike me as the type that need.... extras.  What they got is too hot to handle anyway.  You don't need cuffs, whips, leather or anything else if you're a natural hellcat.  Hehhehe.

Okay that's the last I'll say on the subject before this thread gets too creepy for anyone just clicking in.  Lol.

Oh psh, I've seen worse things discussed in other threads about characters. thsi is tame compared to that, plus I can see Ashley being just as sexual with Shepard as any of the other LI's, even Liara with her extra long love scene in ME1.

I think there will be another inferred sex scene.

It's become a bit of thing for Mass Effect games to let you talk to the LI's after every major mission then at the end a big horny conclusion before everyone potentially dies on the last mission.

Which is something I don't get cause I'm always more likely to die on horizon than any other level.

I'm sure there's much more to Ashley in ME3 than randomly spread out sexytimes. Like her promoion to Spectre. I'm sure she cried tears of joy and/or visited her fathers grave to tell him.

I'd like the inference that they're having a normal relationship. That's all. And to be honest, the ME1 love scene was so beautifully done. I think in ME2 they tried a little too hard with some things. I mean.... you can make dolls kiss but they still look like dolls kissing. I'm thinking of Miranda and Jack's love scenes. They tried to show too much (not skin - action) and... it got weird. Because no matter what it still looks like two awkward CGI characters half pawing at each other.

If you pull back with the fly cam on the ME1 scenes it's the same thing. Weird. Tight close ups that suggest rather than show are my preference.

That goes for whatever love life Shepard and Ashley have in ME3. I don't need to see everything every time they're gonna fall into bed. I'm just going to assume they are all the time. And their interactions should should reflect that at least subtly. If they show or suggest one love scene that's fine. That's enough to think that they're being affectionate on a regular basis throughout for me (and times we don't see).

@Megabad - I think Ash has a strong sense of duty so if the Alliance and Anderson want her to be a Spectre she's gonna be a SpecTRe whether she wants to or not.  And she'll do it as well as she can.  It's just what she does, even if she never wanted it.

That's pretty much my feelings on the subject also.

I think the ME1 scenes were handled much more tastefully than ME2. I know ME1 showed a bit more skin than what was shown in ME2 but I still think it was better.

Eh, I think the ME2 scenes were great in that aspect. They were tailored to each character rather than cookie cutter make out standing then rolling over in bed that was the ME1 scenes. Jack's had an embrace before heading to the sheets, Miranda's was in the engine room next to the element Zero core that must have effected her biotics for...fun purposes, and Tali had some more of her defense mechanism before showing Shepard her face and pouncing. Same goes with Jacob, Thane, and Garrus. All different depending on the character. The only thing that was different in ME1 was the dialogue, not the action. "Actions speak louder than words"

I appreciate what they tried to do with the ME2 love scenes. People wanted more. Not just skin but they wanted to see more of the affection I suppose. The problem with that is that for instance Jack's lovey dovey scene: It was sweet and the sentiment was there and it was nice and all but the technology just doesn't exist to make it look natural. The kisses and loving caresses still left much to be desired as far as that. They could have easily implied all those things in a much better way - like they did in ME1.

ME1 "showed more skin" but that's not the point. It didn't really "show" anything. What you were sure of was that two people were making love. The specifics of it were way hotter left to the imagination.

The fact they were more individually tailored to each character was an improvement, but there's just an intimacy in the scene that made it more.. I dunno what word I'm looking for.

I know that all of them are obviously intimate but the ME1 was just a bit more atmospheric and had something about it that wasn't duplicated in any of the ME2 scenes. For me at least.

Well I'm guessing they didn't want the love scenes to be duplicates, which is why they tailored them to the LI rather than just showing up at Shepard's cabin and under the sheets. (the nice,soft,comfortable sheets)
