Also, not really sure about present day bands. Always thought she seemed to like the music at the Flux, though. She enjoyed dancing to it enough, at least with Shepard.

Shame we couldn't bring her to Afterlife in ME3...

I wish my PVR worked otherwise I would record lots of goodies. But after spending well over a few hundred bucks fixing my truck, I'm a little short in the cabbage department.

As for current bands.. that's tough. I don't know enough of today's music (a good thing...). So any suggestions I would have would be early 2000's. Maybe some Matchbox 20?

Ashley: No. I like it. But, I really just outta move all my stuff up here. It'd just be easier. The crew already knows we're together.
Shepard: We aren't exactly subtle about it. I mean, between the starry eyed looks and 'observing assets'. Besides - f*ck em. We're SpecTRes and by god, we deserve to have a little fun every now and then.
Ashley: Fair enough. And I take that as a 'yes'.
Shepard: You practically live up here anyway. I'll drop by to obs desk to grab everything else.
Ashley: Sure thing. See you later Skipper.

@Aurora - Lol! Very nice dialog. The tattoo is a nice touch.  Can't wait for the next Duet Effect chapter btw.

Yeah, Sorry. Been busy. Plan to have a draft written by at least this weekend, but I'm also going to be participating in the Operation for most of tomorrow anyway. I'm juggling it between my uni and operation time. So I won't be able to get to it for a while.

Shepard: If the illusive man knew you had been there and tried to create a divide between you and me ... well, remember when I tried to recruit you? You could have tried the same - but you didn't. It looks to me as if the illusive man tried to destroy any connections to the Alliance to keep me working for Cerberus. Which ... worked.
Ashley: Not sure about that. Was your loyalty truly worth the lives of thousand colonists? Not even Cerberus ... wait. I just did answer my own question, right?
Shepard: Given the fact Cerberus is now setting all hell lose for their own goals in the middle of the Reaper War? Yeah, you did.
Ashley: I hate to be not in control of this game ... it still feels too big for me. Like back in the ol' days of Saren.
Shepard: Just one difference: you're a Spectre now and you can control the game.
Ashley: I won't. Skipper, there are three men in my life I always saw as symbols of the good side in all this mess. My father, Captain Anderson and ... and you. You taught me well it's better to play by the rules than doing your own thing, even if it takes more time. Making friends along the path is better than kicking everyone's butt.
Shepard: Who are you and where's Ashley? *snickers*
Ashley: Right here. I ... I just matured a bit. Well ... mind if we finish the mission and find the Prothean archive?
Shepard: Aye-aye ... Liara should be ready too ...

It's quite a consensus in this thread Shepard's the whipped one in that relationship. He might take the lead on the battlefield, but off the battlefield, it's the hellcat's hour.
