You know, it'd have been a great player punch if we had been sent back to Virmire in the third game...

I completely agree. I would so buy a VI survivor DLC where we get to go back to Virmire. On the mission we can talk about what we've sacrificed, but what we would gain. And in the process we would get closer to the LI, Ashley in my case.

Ashley: Really, Skipper? A book?
Shepard: Yeah? What's wrong with that?
Ashley: Going a bit old-fashioned, are we?
Shepard: Yeah. A little bit? Sometimes the oldies are the goodies and all that jazz.
Ashley: I'm just surprised you can get them. Books are ridiculous to come by nowadays.
Shepard: An old friend, Kasumi, gave it to me for my birthday before I went back to the Alliance. Not sure how she 'acquired' it, though.
Ashley: This 'Kasumi', any intentions there, Skipper?
Shepard: No need to be getting all jealous on me, Ash. She's a fun girl. Helped her rob a multibillionaire criminal, and got to play the part of a super suave spy. It was fun, and I really liked her, but she's decidedly not my type.
Ashley: 'Decidedly' - hmm?
Shepard: She's more like a sister than anything else. One that constantly tries to steal credit chits while I'm not looking. But a sister none the less.
Ashley: Yeah, that sounds like typical sisterly behaviour.
Shepard: Heh. I guess you'd know all about that, huh?
Ashley: Yeah... Now tell me about this super suave spy heist?
Shepard: Didn't I tell you that one?
Ashley: A heist, Skipper? I think I'd remember that one.
Shepard: I suppose you would. Maybe if you're a good girl, I'll take you for a heist for your next birthday. Though probably not the same place.
Ashley: Well, no - of course not. They'd know your face.
Shepard: No, it's not that. It's more like... ehh...
Ashley: You kinda blew it up?
Shepard: ... I kinda blew it up.
Ashley: Of course, you're John Shepard. I'd be surprised the planet would still be intact.
Shepard: That's just unnecessarily mean.
Ashley: Truth hurts, Skip.
Shepard: True enough.
Ashley: Now - spill it, man! Details.
Shepard: Why the hell not? Ok. Now. I met Ms Goto on the Citadel...

I really wish ME3 Ash would look anywhere near as cute as in some of the fanart. I actually started to Virmire her in all playthroughs I started since ME3 release. An Ash "alternate facial appearance pack" would be neccessary...

Virmire or even an added scene on Horizon would have done wonders to clear the air. Horizon came so late in the game though. But Virmire could work as early as Tuchanka; Mordin could sift through the rubble and find something he was missing to cure the genophage. Cue emotional reunion with VS.

Shameless plug: another Officially Unofficial is up. WINDING DOWN TO A THRILLING CONCLUSION.

Wait, if just cut off a bit skin from Shepard's face, there will be red light or something? :)
Really, like a Terminator...

Seriously, that picture is awesome. Ash could not look any ditzier, though. "Like, omg, what's going on?" *twirls hair*

@Aurora - I loved Kasumi's mission. Anyone ever seen the show White Collar? Because it totally felt like getting my Neal Caffrey on. LOL

 I can imagine that Shep's mom had a little secret. She didn't tell him about his sister. That would be awesome.
Oh.....I should say hello.....well...
Hello everyone !
I can't think of better place to find the answer. Did BioWare add with EC that scene when Ashley asked Shepard about his memories when he was on the other side?

Wait I saw one interesting theory. Remember when Jane Shepard punches reporter she calls her "b*tch". And when John Shepard punches reporter she calls him "son of a b*tch". This means that John son of Jane. :D
Well, yeah, sounds stupid. =)

Gonna give Ash a pass on that facial expression.  She's probably trying to figure out which one is the evil Shep from the alternate dimension.  Hint: It's femshep!

Vimire is one of my favorite levels. Tropical planet with sun & fun... Chewing up the scenery in the Mako, what´s not to like.

Im my last playthrough of the saga, I was a total renegade psycho. Telling the council to kiss my tight ass, not buying a toothbrush for Traynor & shooting Mordin in the back (kids are a pain in the ass).

And suddenly Wrex shows up on the Citadel in a bad mood, which I did not expect:

"Whats the matter, Ashley not around to do your dirty work"
   :pinched:

That line was awesome!

I completely agree (though I've never had a wrex is alive, sabotage the genophage playthrough).  It's one of my favorite moments in ME1 that if you can't talk Wrex down, Ash is the one who kills him to save you.  It isn't your fellow officer biotic, or the renegade turian, no, it's your bad*ss gunnery chief.

Just another one of those moments that reminds you why Ash is Boss.

But seriously, just talk Wrex down, he's too awesome to kill off!

With the FShep I just finished, when I did her "tune-up" run in ME (I almost always do two runs of ME per Shep- a "tune-up" one and then the "import" run to get them to lvl 60 prior to ME2) I killed Wrex off*. I felt so bad about it that during her import run, I let him live.

*= I RP'ed her as someone who is very smart (though has some issues verbalizing her thoughts) and knows her galactic history very well, which is why I killed off the Rachni Queen (which is becoming the new usual for me) and planned to kill Wrex so I could sabotage the Genophage cure. Needless to say, the sabotaging of the cure didn't happen.

I do this, and the more I've read about the Krogan rebellions, the more I think sabotaging the cure is the right call.  You haven't even cured it yet, and Wrex is already talking about expanding.  Which is exactly what went wrong last time.  I get that Eve is a stabalizing influence, but she won't live forever...

I usually give the rachni one more chance, but when they blow it in ME3, I save Arlak company.

I love that Wrex line. Its like Bioware took a slight jab at the morons who blame Ash for killing Wrex when it was their own fault all along.

Ash doesn't do my dirty work. Why should she get all the fun? ;)

Exactly. All Ashley does is keep the game from going "critical mission failure" on you because you were too stupid to level up your influence and too weak to take the shot yourself.

I feel that if Shep hadn't made Ashley get on a lifepod, he'd have never gotten spaced. She'd have saved him. That's what she does...

The conversation about Shep and any memories he had while "dead" is not added with the EC.

Does anyone else kinda find the "Critical Mission Failure" screen funny? I don't die much, yes i am on the easiest difficulty, but when i do i usually die sprawled into positions a normal human should never have to do. Especially while dying, poor Shepard. I don't know why but the weird positions mixed with the low death music just makes me laugh a little. Oh and I agree with krukow, if only Ash hadn't listened and respected my order.....

I find it funnies when my squaddies die and they're half sprawled out on some ledge, so that part of their bodies are floating...
Except when Ash dies, which isn't funny. Though she never dies (she's a freaking murder machine if you give her the shield boost outfit and a revenant).

It's a cut convo where Ashley asks Shepard if he remembers anything from when he was dead (harkening back to their religious discussions from before). It's sorta hinted at if you take her on the cerberus mission. It's briefly touched on when you watch the vids about your ressurection.
