Oh well, the less we see now the more to experience in the game.

Wait, is the ToP Ash an announcement of an alternative outfit for Ash in ME3?

Her testimony could be different if you "cheat" on her.

Faithful: Shepard couldn't have done it.
"Cheat" : of course she did it i saw her with my own eyes!

well that last line ins a blatant lie, since the trial's about the viper system and no one was with Shepard.

Question! What's your stance on change, regarding Ash's personality? Her new outfit might be suggesting change, for example. She might have gotten less 'alliance-y' or more serious. How would you feel about that?

[Stealth mode deactivated] I'm perfectly fine with change. I'd love to see how Ashley's developed over the course of the 2 years Shepard was gone. I'd be pretty disappointed if she was still exactly the same but then again I'd be hella darn pissed if she was totally unrecognisable. I'm looking forward to what she has to say regarding the Horizon incident :P. [Stealth mode reactivated]

I hope only Ash and Garrus have Concussive shot and not anyone else, too many squadmates did in ME2. I hope Ash has some great and unique powers.

I onder if Ash would get immunity back, or maybe Vega sine he's survavibility while Ash is leathal. Her passive must increase her weapon Damage, but I hope tht doesn't take away form her health, which was very high in ME1 up there with Wrex's.

I'd say she'd just have tons of weapon based powers. Overkill and such so that her weapons just mow down husks, cerberus, reaper drones or whatever's dumb enough to take on Shepard in a ground fight.

I think she would still consider herself Alliance, but she'd operate slightly outside of what the Alliance considers acceptable practice. And depending on how you speak to her on the Normandy - agree with her views, or encourage her that Aliens are their allies as well as his general paragon/renagadeness - She carries those philosphies over to her Spectre work - Eg. Paragon Shepard = slightly more diplomatic Ash, Renagade Shepard = more ruthless Ash.

I have this theory that Ashley is the counter to Vega. Can anyone provide information that would support/dismiss this claim?

It seems that Vega practically has Ashley's role from ME1. Provide the point-of-view of a human new to the galactic playing field.
And there was this tweet that stated that wile Vega's abilities were about survivability, Ashley's were more about lethality.
That's all I can think of in terms of comparing the two.
I am not really sure what you mean exactly. Gameplay? Character?

Sorry for not being specific. There seem to be alot of people expecting a new female character to accompany Vega. I think that Ashley is meant to fill that spot.

In ME1, Kaidan and Ash shared similar plot moments depending on Shep's gender. It's possible that they may do this again with Vega and Ash. Either way, I don't expect a new female human to be introduced. However I could be wrong!

What I would want to know is this - in the Horizon encounter with Ashley a teary-eyed and hurtful said 'I thought you were dead!I almost -!' but then she stops herself and contiunes with 'How could you put me through that!'

What did she almost do?

I have a few really 'meh' ideas in mine of what she wanted to say. One of which includes announcing that she had thought of commiting suicide (ranging from jumping out of the lifepod to join him in death, to drinking heavily or putting the pistol to her own head.) as she states that Shepard was the only one that made her feel like she was worth being fought for, and considering how much Shepard actually did sacrifice to have her (Kaiden being the big one).

Honestly - I see signs of depression and intense self-loathing under her spirituality and enjoyment of poetry. Her father's dead caused a huge void in her heart which gradually healed and had been filled with Shepard's affections. There's also another Freudian physcological condition - the name currently escapes me - in which the daughter has a sexual attachment to their father and thus seeks out similar characteristics in a partner.

So based on that last theory; some personality traits (general traits, like the determination and near unmatched drive to win, or slightly para/rena traits) or even something small like how Shepard smiles could be similar to how Ash's father acted thus she develops an unusually strong attachment to him as early as him waking up after Eden Prime - and also - let's not forget that Shepaloo is still smoking hot.

I might just be over-thinking this, or I might just be onto something. Either way, I've stray heaps from my original question.

What was Ash gonna say?

I'd be a little impressed if vega's "survivability" was earned on the battle of the citadel. I mean Shepard only fought through a little bit of Geth. since it was a battle I'm thinking there were alot more geth on the Citadel so alot of people probably had to take down the remaining Geth after Sovereign exploded. It'd be nice if he was picked for the Normandy by Ashley or Kaidan.Posted Image

The months after Saren's defeat I'd say Ash and Shep became very close.

Losing someone you love is probably the hardest thing we face in life, it changes you. That explains emotional Ash on horizon, and maybe we'll see more of emotional Ash in ME3. And even if you didn't romance her she states "You were more than just our commander! I would have followed you anywhere!" Even worst If you did romance her because she looks completely hurt the whole time, then she hits you with the "I loved you" line.

But as you said Ash cuts off, so the player has to fill in the blanks.
There could have been times were Ash looked at her assault rifle thinking it could end her misery. So i'd  say she has thought about suicide. I mean nothing else really fits. Posted Image

Hmm.. 31 days? Ouch. Damn man she fell fast lol

Still...A lot can happen in just one day, never mind a month. They see each other everyday. Basically live and work together on the Normandy. I'd say that leaves plenty of time for them to get to know each other better.

I bet by the end of that month Shep knows Ash like the back of his hand lol

Apparently, in todays Q&A at gamescom, they said we would find out more about what Ashley was up to during the events of ME2 in some kind of personal mission. But this is second hand knowledge and I haven't found a recorded version yet. With the Concussive shot info, we are at least getting some bits and pieces.
