Javik is terrific. Honestly, him trolling Liara on Thessia is one of the more amusing moments I've ever had just by playing a stupid game. It's like Dr. House in an alien form of life.

I don't get why Miranda fans hate Ashley's character. It's kind of contradicting I think. Oh well, I don't feel like arguing about something so.. lame. Or pity.

Miranda is actually a really great, deep character in ME 2 if you get to know her. She's the only other character I ever romance. I just think Ash is better.

Also, no cheating. Their romances get separate playthroughs...

@Sporeaddict; My Shepard was fighting for those he cared about in ME1 (Ash and others). He did the same in ME2 with Ash in mind, and again in ME3. He actually tells Liara that Ash is the big picture for him.

Yes, *cheating* on Ash with someone else. It comes off like Shepard can't go a couple of months without f**king one of his crew. He can't resist temptation. I just find that sad for a character who's a Military Commander.

Exactly.  Ashley waited like 3 years, in my cannon because she never really tells you what she did, and Shepard can't go without a good time for a couple of months? It's almost like they wanted you to cheat with the girls on your team. I mean, Ashley is the only one (and Kaiden) that you cant really make up with in ME2. They even put Tali as a squad member, gave Liara her own DLC, and all the while there are chicks at your feet asking you for 'help'.

More or less it comes down to the fact that Ash and Shepard left things unresolved on Horizon, and Miranda was the nearest peice of meat who was there for Shepard (or was he there for her?). Apparently a strong man like Shepard can't go without a woman's comfort for more than a few months.

What about Tali then? She's also been there from the start.... yeah, thought so.

I agree.

She really has a good character arc going from cold & calculated to warm & carring but still being arrogant & commanding. But thats what leaders have to be sometimes, and it gets confirmed when she is one of the few options to lead the Fireteam thorugh the suicide mission.

Besides Diana Allers (Emily Wong got screwed), i think all of the ME characters are great because they are so different, it dosent matter if they are saints or complete douche bags, just as long as they go through a transition, because that´s what good story telling is. Hell, Blue started as a geeky "teenage" girl, who was uncomfortable around all the humans (Ash) on the Normandy. And in ME3, she´s using Cerberus troops as clay pigions...

I agree. But as romance material? She can't compete with Liara or Ash. And Liara can't compete with Ash even though Liara gets more content. ME1 ash won my Shepard over and that was that.

People can hate Ash for who she is, but Ash just suits Shepard, period. She's an equal partner. A life-long soldier, fighter, and Commander... like Shep himself.

But I enjoy Ash's ME1 romance even more. She's the only LI you can joke around with (except for preset dialogue lines that aren't funny).

Liara makes up for that in ME3 though. She grows up, and becomes more badass. But she's still too much on the obsessed side for my tastes. Can't imagine loving someone who worships me in real life, why would a solider like Shepard? He needs someone to hold him down.

I have to say, Ash is my favorite romance option for male Shepard. She compliments both Paragon and Renegade Shepard very well personality wise and they do have a lot in common. Also when it comes down to it, while they both love each other, they are also friends at the end of the day with both of them teasing with each other but in good nature and willing to discuss conversations with each other about other stuff. I like Tali but my Shepard sees her more as a little sister than a love interest and just wasn't into Miranda and Jack but I do admire their character development. Don't get me started on Liara and her obsessiveness with Shepard, that was a huge turn off for me.

Ashley, meanwhile, just keeps stealling my kills with her Revenant.

Yeah Tali to me is like a good little sister. I've always thought of her that way. Liara, well i have never romanced her or noticed her kind of praising me. I accidentally romanced her because i was doing the paragon options. I am so stupid, i thought that maybe "more than friends" meant like good friends. Haha nope. I loaded the last save. But does she really obsess over Shepard??.....Come to think of it, she did seem a little like she was interested in me.....
