BP, don't quote him and hopefully he won't come back lol
Meh, it's nothing I guess. I frequent a politics forum so it's definitely nothing new for me to see that kind of rhetoric going on. lol But this isn't the place for it either. People are allowed to have their opinions and shouldn't be put down for it but when it's just one person continually doing it, it gets old. I think krukow or whoever originally posted that was slightly joking as well but alas...
You didn't post a top either. I'm going to ridicule you now Badexample...

Ash: So.... heard you've been drinking again. That's why you haven't been to AA.
Shepard: What? I haven't been drinking, what are you talking about?
Ash: Uh-huh.
Shepard: Alright, fine. Who told you?
Ash: Liara.
Shepard: That rat!
Ash: Yeah.... bless her heart. She could have lied to me like you did, but she didn't.
Shepard: Ash, I can explain-
Ash: Explain what?!
Shepard: ... Nevermind. Think I should... head out, maybe..?
Ash: Yeah. I think so too.

The fact of the matter is, my Shepards choose whichever option most suits their individual personalities. My Original Spacer Shepard would choose the option that most suits his suicidal tendencies. I am ashamed to admit, my Spacer and Ash never rekindled. He sent her to Hackett post-cerberus coup and died in the final destroy choice.
My Earthborn Shepard is headstrong and as the quote in my signature states - would rather rip a locked door from it's frame than spare the ten seconds to hack through it, so he's a destroyer. That and he promised Ash he would 'get it done and go home together'. John.R.Shepard NEVER breaks his word and hates others who breaks theirs with a passion.
My fem!Shep wants to gain whatever edge she can over her rivals, but she's quite discrete and manipulative. A ruthless renegade/gon. She'd pick either control, or Synthesis if I let her character develop sympathies for EDI and the Geth.

Jeez, he sounds like a real charmer.
Speaking of sending Ash off to Hackett, I thought I read somewhere that you get a conversation with her on the quantum talkie thing or an e-mail. Or both? Anyone got a video of it, if so? Can't bring myself to do it myself..

To be fair, he lost two wives before hand and spent his childhood in a completely freaked up home, not to mention that he never wanted the SpecTRe gig, not did he want to survive the suicide mission. He knew from the get-go that he wasn't going to survive the war and didn't want Ash to suffer through losing a lover again....
He was kind of dense too... so, yeah. His reasoning was never the best.

But if Shepard can choose an outfit unique to them, why can't the squadamtes have their own? i never understood why squadmates have to follow outfit regulartion but hepard can have shoulder length hair in her face for several hair styles up nope the designers are sexist for letting Ashley's hair down. Not accusing any of you, since I can tell you're joking, but a lot of the ME fandom isn't and that's a terrible double standard.Aurora313 wrote...

Ashley: ... and they all lived happily ever after. - That's it. The Grimm Brothers had a knack for such stuff.
Shepard: *snickers* They had. What are you now, Ash ... my girlfriend, my sis, my mom?
Ashley: Your girlfriend ... *smiles*
Shepard: Mind you a kiss for your boyfriend then?
Ashley: *kisses Shepard* Nope ... *kisses him again*
Shepard: I love you, Ash ...
Ashley: I love you, Skipper. ... and I would show you if we weren't in the hospital right now. *smiles*
Shepard: You don't dare to ...
Ashley: And how! *slowly unbuttons her blouse*
Shepard: The doc said I should ease up ... Ash ...
Ashley: No one died 'cause of that. Hope there's enough space for both of us under your blanket.
Shepard: Ash, what if we get caught?
Ashley: Is Joker around? Or Liara? Now shut up and ... let me show you what "they all lived happily ever after" means to me. *husky voice*
Man ... now I'm blushy.
And yeah, sorry BE, but it's Ashley again who's the kinky one ...

Ashley: The truth is - all of my fans think I'm kinky. Why that?
Dr. Shrink: Well, Miss Williams ... I just saw the mission briefings. It seems to be you who's in charge off the battlefield.
Ashley: Nothing wrong with that. Skipper is a bit shy, that's it.
Dr. Shrink: It could give your audience the idea you're a very sexual woman. Maybe you should tune down it a bit?
Ashley: What? I'm a hellcat on and off the battlefield, I just take what I want. I can't see any "kinky" parts here.
Dr. Shrink: That "hellcat" proves my theory.
Ashley: And your theory is, doc ... ?
Dr. Shrink: You're a -very- kinky woman.
... later ...
Shepard: And, what did the doctor say?
Ashley: We have not enough sex, that's why I'm kinky.
