Well, yeah, any NPC has powers that can be used to make your life easier, but Ash is actively good. She doesn't just help, she freaking steals kills! She almost never dies (I've only seen banshees kill her, and they're cheats anyways).

I mean, I get the lack of content annoyance, but it just seems counterproductive to get rid of the most effect squadmate in battle...

Lemme put it this way: I believe Ash and Kaidan had the same budget for each. If you sum up both budgets I doubt it was much bigger than the budget for Garrus OR Liara. That's why I say Ash & Kaidan had one shared budget - BW simply had less money for each VS than for Garrus, Liara and Vega.

Let's hope BW doesn't mess up this time. Okay, technically they didn't mess up with the EC-DLC, but they also didn't fix some issues. Maybe this time. I'll keep my expectations low for Ashley ...

I really hope the romances play a role in that DLC.

Yeah, during my Mirandamance run which I had gotten to the final choice prior to the EC but not made my decision, I went with Synthesis. Ash was the one to put his name up on the Memorial Wall and she broke down and had to be comforted by EDI, like she would've had they been together.
