Does anybody wish that Bioware actually had the balls not to make Tali a squad member in ME3? Mainly just so we don't have to hear that idiotic, "Garrus and Tali always stood by Shepard!" from her fanboys.

No, but I wish that they had the balls to make Wrex a squdmate again...

I like it - 'cause it's totally Shepard. The only reason why he's still sane is that he fights for Ash. She's the very face of the galaxy he tries to save - and give her a future. Just my interpretation.

I agree, of course. Shepard's fighting for Ashley. He even says that. I love it when Ashley just turns around to look at him when he finishes saying that, and he can't stop looking at her either.

My Original!Spacer - cut himself off from everyone, wanted to die alone at the end so he could join his first wife on the other side/afterlife. Ash was sent off to Hackett in this canon.

Current!Earthborn - Just wants to spend whatever time he has with Ashley. He just wants to be with her no strings attached. After the war, they're kind of still  together, but Shepard's dealing with bouts of severe PTSD. I'd say about 2-3 years post-war, he'll be loads better (and physically healthier too: eating properly and without that huge amount of stress). Still has nightmares, but with the Starbrat destroyed, they're less terrifying.

The post-war headcanon I've envisioned has Shepard as an Admiral, but a recluse - much like Grissom was. And Ashley as a Major in charge of her own taskforce stationed on the Normandy. Shepard gets called in as a consultant for talks that go arwy and basically the galaxy gets plunged into civil war. Unfortunately, it's not one Shepard can yell his way out of.

I tried to make my multiplayer character have Alliance blues, but I couldn't pull it off right at all. Does anybody else think it would be amazing if we could play as the ME3 squadmates, Ashley, Garrus, James ect? Of course, it would be a pain in the ass trying to unlock Ashley...

@Aurora: of course, everyone has his/her own headcanon.
Regardless of my Shepards, Ashley is a constant in all realities. Call me cross-reality-loyal towards Ashley.
However, Ashley IS the very face why my Shepard(s) is still fighting since all he wants is a future with her. And to achieve that, he needs to save the galaxy.
You know, I'm a strong believer in that theory that a soldier doesn't fight that hard for his nation, if he has no one to return to - but he'll fight twice as hard if there's a girlfriend / wife waiting at home for him to return and a future together.

Ashley is that one.

@OWA: there's an even better look he throws at her - at Mars, when he talks to Liara about what he "could lose if he fails".

Oh, yeah - her family. Her mother and sisters, and maybe even a little niece or nephew.
