Shepard'd definitely be a boxer. Ash would probably be a martial artist as well. But like Ash, a lot of his success in-verse comes from his determination and physical and mental endurance. So, Marathon-like events might be no his list. I can actually see them both as swimmers too.

In my headcanon, their post ME3 house on Amateratsu is on a beachfront and a small island is located out by about 500-750 metres. On hotter days, Shepard and Ash have races to there and back.

For some reason, I always imagined that Ash was involved in track when she was in High School.

Yeah, I figure that too. That, or she played very aggressive competative sports, like hockey or soccer.

I'll just say it, I don't think Mass Effect 3 Ashley would swim because she doesn't want to get chlorine in her hair :)

Post War - do you think Ashley would cut her hair shorter post-war, or let it grow longer?

Lol I could see that. Now they have saline treatments for pools (it's quite expensive) so I would guess in the ME universe, they don't use chlorine treatmets in pools anymore.

Could you imagine how pissed Ash would be if Shep pushed her into the pool after getting her hair done? Yikes :?

I think she'd keep it the same for a while, but I could see her cutting it short someday for a fun change of pace.  Not like butch short or anything, but short.

Shepard, probably laughter, a few teasing remarks, maybe some worrying when Ash doesn't come straight back to the surface immediately. When he bends down to inspect, Ash bursts out, snatches him by the collar and tosses him in ruining his leather Jacket.

Hmm I think she would just keep it the same length it's at in ME3. I think Shep lets his hair grow a bit. Not really long, but long enough to style maybe? He doesn't strke me as a guy who gives a damn about hair honestly.

Yeah, Shepard'll definitely let his hair grow a little. He does in my postwar-canon, just enough to spike it with gel or something. He personally doesn't care about styling, but fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your view) Ash has quite a lot of expertise in that area and does it for him. Whether he sits down long enough for her to do it however is another matter entirely.

Oh yea Ashley does Shep's hair for him. He is so used to not having to style it so he is "meh" about it lol.

I believe she will keep it the same but after a while she might change it.

Well, I'm a little sad that it's Sunday evening (in my time zone) and my weekend is almost over.

Wonder how Ash feels about Mondays? Probably they're just another day to her, since she's in the military and has to work on weekends anyway.

Also, if you like your job, going back after the weekend isn't horrible. Don't get me wrong, I still like the weekend more than the week, but right now, Mondays aren't as bad as they were when i was doing data entry.

I'm totally one of those guys that's a little too excited on Mondays. Pisses some people off. Lol.. then again I'm also more of a morning person than a night owl too.

Shepard: "C'mon get moving. Startin' a whole new week, it's Monday!"
Ash: "Ugh."

Shepard: Come on. Out of bed!
Ash... Bite me.
Shepard: What's that?
Ash: Bite me, sir.
Shepard: Much better.
Ash: Bleh.

My Shepley's Monday.

Voicemail: You have reached the private offices of Lieutenant Commanders Ashley Williams and John Shepard. Unfortunately, we are currently unavailable due to a sudden, devastating Reaper attack. Please call back on another day.
Shepard: Who left that damn thing on?
Ashley: It discourages callers. Go back to sleep.
Shepard: *head down, lights out*
Ashley: *snuggles close*
Shepard: ... F*ck mondays.
Ashley: Mmm...

Welcome!! Everyone here has head canons for their Shepard and Ashley romance. Don't worry. It's normal. :D I have a huge head canon that seems to get bigger and bigger even though the Mass effect trilogy ended months ago.

Okay, I was just whatching breakup videos between romances in ME3 because I heard Miranda's was really sad. I watched Mirandas and let me tell you, the look in her face was heartbreaking. It's so cold if any Shepard would do that. She cried and had to walk away. Then I whatched Ashley's breakup, because I had never seen it, all she said was that she was disappointed. And after she said that, Shepard and her even joked around. This was a romance all the way from ME and not cheated on. I would have thought she would be a little more vulnerable at that point of the game and relationship. Btw this was on the last Citadel date. This is nothing against her character but I just thought that she would be a little more sensitive around Shepard at that point. Especially if he broke up with her.

Miranda's my only other romance ever (I played ME2 10 times before I bought ME1, so she was my first romance, still holds a place in my heart) and that scene is the WORST SCENE IN THE GAME.  I mean, it's done amazingly, but it's sooooo hard to watch.  I would rather shoot mordin in the back with my revenant, push tali off a cliff, and jump in the green energy all at once than watch the Miri breakup scene.  I now segregate my playthroughs based on which of them I'm romancing (only Ash, or only Miri).  Breaking up with Miri is right up there with killing Ash in the "things I will never do, ever, ever."  I would literaly quit before I did either.

I also think Ashley takes it better because she's used to loss and wasnt sure where she stood with Shepard anyways (it had been 2 years since they were actually together).  She's ultimately a strong person, and she can handle this.    She already had to get over him, so it's not nearly as fresh a wound as it could have been.

Whereas with Miri, she's strong, but this is the first relationship of this type she's connected with.  It's devastating for her to lose this.  Plus, as I said, she hadn't just lost him for two years.  She hadn't already had to get over this loss before.

OK, I've been sitting here jamming to some Warren Zevon for the past hour or so and I gotta ask you Badexample... your name isn't based on the song 'Mr. Bad Example' is it? :P

Miranda's breakup is just wrong. I mean I felt bad about it in the first place but then she puts on the water works display... Ugh.

Though turning Ash down for the romance scene is much much worse. That face! Poor girl just wanted a little something something..

@krukow,I was hoping you would reply since you seem to have te best insight on both relationships :) Yeah I agree the scene was done perfectly, so sad. I would never want to do that it's just evil. But now I see and agree about Ashley. She did have like 2 and a half years to get over him and things were a little shady between them. Whereas with Miranda it was still fresh for her and thats why she was more devistated. Thank you for helping me understand it better.
