i take it like this from the begining with ash its all about being subtle shes not liara or tali whos going to vocalize her feelings alot she even tells you that in ME1 so i know what im in for with her. her expressing regret over it and looking down at the floor, her voice cracking when you let her back on board the normandy are all the signs a keen ash fan needs to know that she is sorry and feels bad.

I don't think, if you do it paragon style, she needs to apologize.  She was doing her job.  Just dropping her gun because the guy she loves, who was an unabashed member of the group invading the citadel within the past calendar year, shows up would be irresponsible.  I get that we know Shep's cool because we have more information, but until she gathered more information, Ashley needed to keep her defenses up.  I don't think you can truly look at it from Ash's POV and think she did something wrong.  It's just fuel for the haters...

Protecting the council took priority over romance in that moment.

im just going to add this and then i will let the matter drop. to me ash dosent have alot of solid info to belive things one way or another at that point. on one hand shepard has gone out of his way to prove to ash that he is not with cerberus vega backs him up with an important comment on mars, shepard can tell the TIM off during the same mission wheither she hears that or not is up for debate.when she get her head bashed in by a cerberus mech shepard carries her back onboard the ship was she awake? No. put ash is smart would a cerberus agent really take the time to rescue a potneialy troublesome variable who already has suspicions about him? i wouldnt think so. would he also check up on her after her surgery to make sure she was ok? again i would think not. how about comeing to see her two more times? telling her shes the only one he has ever loved and needs HER to get through this ordeal and getting her a book of something she loves. how about consoling her when her brother in law dies and asking if she will come back to the normandy with him when shes better? and finaly would a heavly armed cerberus agent who needs to kill the council waste time trying to convince her hes not the enemey so he could shoot her in the back? lets face it if ash would have been right all along then  she was dead anyway because there was no way she would have been able to kill full body armored shepard and his two companions (who may be people she knows perssonely aswell) with a handgun she would have been dead in seconds.

all that is not metagaming thats all information ash has acceses to and should have been pondering all that time up until the coup.

on the other hand she has information that shepard worked with/for cerberus for a couple of months then for some reason came back to earth and alliance command. she also knows that cerberus spent two yearrs bringing him back to life and that they are implanting ppl with reaper indoctraniation tech and its likely that they did the same to shep.

so with all that said id say the level of information is about even. it could be one way or the other.
to me for a majority of that scene she chose to belive the latter until she let her feelings sway her judgment.so to me she was wrong and imo a vocalized apology would have been nice to get from her to bring closure to the situation and they can move on.

My Shepard is not naming any son after Kaidan. He left him to die. That's a painful reminder for both Shepard and Ashley. You see how they are everytime Kaidan is mentioned. They go all quiet and few words are ever spoken between them... :/

I always saw them having a daughter first. But that's my own headcanon.

Kaidan's name is not some kind of taboo. It would be the perfect way to honor his memory, a very important friend of Shep & Ash.

In my canon, if Shepard and Ashley had a baby, it would be a little boy. They would name him Daniel after Anderson. I would never name him Kaiden in my own canon. I just don't think it really fits but thats just me.

If the fight is a challenge, I don't care if it's a woman or not. Heard they can punch as hard as a dude if they want to. 
Of course ... I won't start the fight. 

And I want that shooting-range-date 
Something I'd do with Ashley if I could.

Yeah I knew  But I guess you have a point that because of him, Ashley and Shepard can have a baby in the first place. But me personally, I wouldn't name their child after him. I think its also maybe because I don't like Kaiden If I liked him then I would agree more.
Also just a question, do you guys think Ashley would absolutely love coffee, couldn't live without it. Like coffee and have it sometimes. Or hate coffee, never tried it or didn't like it.
