This reminds me of the **** your way to freedom films like Last Tango in Paris with Marlon Brando.

The issue is the concept of sex at all. Is it for pleasure or is it something more? In the case of the film I mentioned it's the former. Brando cannot connect.

Think about it. I don't think it's any less weird, but it's worth thinking about.

I'll just say again, Jack only gets character resolution if you romance her. And that's pretty sexist IMO...

Though she gets pretty cool character resolution in ME3, so maybe that's just a function of it being a trilogy.

She likes Shepard.  She still hates society at large.  She's still angry.

Learning to like one person isn't character growth.  Hell, she admits there's been people she cared about in the past (the cult, the twosome she was in a relationship with) who she only fell out with later when she learned they were using her.

She hasn't grown, she's just attached to someone who won't screw her over this time.  Not character growth.

This is the Ash thread though, so I'm gonna go ask the jackolytes if they agree.

what non-ashmancers? Taboo is the only one, and he tends to hang out and post on story-related stuff. He's fun, don't mind him. The others are newer ashmancers

Honestly the romance continuity has been completely botched. I mean Liara is still essentially hitting on you, Miranda is an after thought to the writers, Tali is only a squadmate in ME3 BECAUSE of her romance so if you didn't do her, she's just "there" like Ashley is. You can be a complete ass hole to Jack but she changes for the better because of "your influence".. its like the writers just lost track of all the variables and just threw in the towel and tried to fan service everyone but royally screwed it all up continuity wise.

Unless your a Liara fan, then all is well.

I think the Widow is a decent boomstick replacement. Aside from the Claymore, the singleplayer shotguns were underwhelming anyway. Totally ruined Vanguard gameplay for me. I want my kickass Schmitar from ME2 back..

Hey I was wondering, what do you think happened to Ashley's old Phoenix armor? 

As far as the shotgun or sniper question, I never felt Ash was a sniper, I thought she was more of an "in your face" soldier so the shotgun was a nice touch. Maybe she was sent on some missions in ME2 where using the sniper became the norm. Who knows honestly.

I suppose you could head canon something nasty with Miranda. A fade to black allows for that.

Although a picture in Shepard's cabin would have been nice. He could have looked at it after waking from his nightmare.

At least Ashley is there.

The sniper IS the boomstick. It's stick shaped and makes enemies go boom!

well, yeah, but they WON'T LET US GIVE HER 5.  Even though she'd rock the casbaa with them.  Except SMG, because SMGs SUCK in ME3...

As for the phoenix armor? It must have got old and they probably came up with better technology for armor in those 3 years. Actually 6 months because she still had it on Horizon...

I know her new armor (ME3) has better tech and protection, but what do you think Ashley did with it (phoenix armor) personally? Kept it? Trashed it? Lol that what I was originally asking. Should have worded it better. Sorry.

Lol omg those names sound kinda rednecky. I also thought of King of the Hill immediately when I saw Peggy Sue.
