Ashley: So Blue, how are we holding up?
Liara: Just hold on a moment.
Jane: ..........
Ashley: Omni tool not responding?!?
Liara: No no, its working, but its not pointing us towards the Prothean artifact.
Ashley: Then were to?
Liara: It´s pointing back to the Normandy.
Jane: Liara honey, can´t we just start to move along.
Ashley: Yeah, lets just do this the old fashion way, you know. By looking!
Liara: I guess. Wait, this isn´t my omni tool.
Jane: Speed it up Liara.
Ashley: What´s the matter commander?
Jane: NOTHING!
Liara: Shepard, this is your omni tool. We must have switched it by accident last night.
Ashley: Yeah, like I really needed to hear that.
Liara: And it´s pointing towards Jacks old room in engineering... To a floor grate?!?
Ashley: Why´s it pointing to a floor grate on the normandy, its not that rodent again?
Jane: Yes, the hamster got loose again!
Liara: I got a picture here of... Herbal supplements?!?
Ashley: Smooth commander.
Jane: .....I miss my beanbag & bong.

*reads last couple of pages* *shakes head* its funny and sad how ppl use words and labels that they dont understand. i would love a list of all the so called " rascist" things she supposdly says and dose in ME1.

from my time listening to ash haters it usaualy comes from these misconceptions.

1.The bear and the dog metaphor: all ashley stated here was that the allaiance should not 100% rely on their so called "allies" the council. she tells shepard that if it was all on the line for the galaxy the council would throw hummanity at the problem and look out for them selves.
shes proven right in ME3 by the way.

2.asking shepard if the aliens should have acces to their ships vital systems: this is also not a racist concern. ashley is a alliance soldier and her commanding officer is letting alien nationals onboard the alliances most advanced warship and they dont even know these people. shepards known them for about three days at that point he has absolutley no reason to trust them and give them full acces to the ships systems. garrus is a rogue cop who dosent like rules, wrex is a bounty hunter, and tali is from a society the alliance knows almost nothing about. shepards actions were in breach of military protocole and highly unusual. ashley was just concerned that shepard was makeing a huge mistake, and she voiced her concern.

3.Being snappy with liara: ashley is not snappy with liara because shes an alien, ash is snappy with liara because she just dosent like her very much when they first meet. they are two completley diffrent people and liara is also a rival women coming on board the normandy.remeber ash has feelings for shepard to (something haters always seem to forget) so ash feels threatned by the entry of another female, espcialy one whos comeing on to shepard in front of the crew every 5 mins.she eventualy grows passed this and is even quite nice and careing to liara for the rest of the serise.

4.ashley killing wrex: let me just say this, if this happned in your game (haters) and you still blame ash your and idiot and theres nothing that can be done for you plain and simple. ashley was just protecting your ass from a deadly krogan battlemaster who was showing signs of threatning the mission and her commanding officer (and her possible boyfriend if romancing her). if you cant talk him down then its your fault he dies not ashleys.

5.im no fan of aliens comment on Horizon: im no fan of the denver broncos or the new england patriots...dosent mean i hate them want bad things to happen to them and that my faveorite NFL team is supreme over them. just means i really dont care about them one way or another.

there are other reason that have been spouted over the years but these are the ones that you usualy hear the most, or atleast i have. best thing to do ignore them they dont understand ashley and likely never will. its their loss really, ashley really is one of the best and after examing all the charecters on my own for a few years now i belive i can say that without bias.

I always thought she tried smoking, then dropped it quick for the sake of her fitness.

I always thought she tried smoking, then dropped it quick for the sake of her fitness.

She probably did quit when she joined the Alliance. But again, cigarettes is an easy way to ****** off your parents (not speaking from experience here).

I feel incomplete with a certain face around. At least Aurora made a short appearance. And BE ... I'm the guy. You're younger than I am ... and maybe have less facial hair. That makes you to the girl =)

it depends on what you mean by smokeing. from my perspective, weed no. ciggarretes and cigars, maybe. now that we know she was a handful for her parents when she was  younger its a likely possibilty.

although maybe not such a big deal in the ME future because cigs dont affect your health anymore if i recall.

i was the worst young smoker i started then got all my mates started on it then decided could not afford it and stopped but all my mates still carried on one is still smoking 20 years later lol (i still wind them up about it)
