Wow, Ashleys voice in the gameplay one hurts my ears, it's so raspy and shouty. And the bar one was so bland.

I wonder how interested in Mass Effect I would have been if I'd seen either of these videos before the game came out, since they're kind of odd even for works in progress. (I visited a friend over Christmas in 2007 who as playing ME and I fell in love with the game just based on the detail from Virmire)

Well, obviously they think the product they put out is the greatest thing ever. I'm more inclined to trust the quality of a Mass Effect DLC over a Dragon Age DLC any day of the week. Considering how insecure Bioware and EA are after the whole ending backlash and throwing together the Extended Cut retcon, maybe they are actually keen on addressing some fan concerns... It'll never be to the extreme level that we always crave, but if they think twice about hacking some lines on the cutting room floor, then hooray.

How've things been, Ash fans? I've been up to my eyeballs in work. 70 hours in the past week. I'm ready to go home and die. Or nap with my dog. Both good.

Think I'll wrap up my latest playthrough of ME2 today. Going to purposely get some squadmates killed in order to spice it up a bit.

I might kill Thane just to see if I can convince Ash even with Udina's doctored evidence. Pull out some ultra suave smooth talk on her.

I'll just say it.  I don't know if I'm the majority or the minority, but I LOVED witchhunt.  I didn't even love the game play so much per say, but it finally gave me the exact ending I wanted for my Grey Warden and Morrigan.  In fact, it's the exact ending I wish I'd gotten for Shepley from the ME3 EC.  Oh well...

I did that by accident in my canon Shepley paragon playthrough (I meant to send Legion) and I have to say, I have been uninspired to go back and fix it...

Im with you. Witchhunt (and Leliana´s song) was also good I thought, I just wished that Morrigan had more lines. I walked through the portal hand in hand with Morrigan & our devil spawn baby (and probably future ruler). Can´t wait to see how it plays out in DA3.

Which comes to my next point. Leliana was a squad mate in DA:O but not in DA2, even though she showed up in the ending & in "Mark of the assasian" (how cool was that garden party). So, my theory is that... Leliana is the Ashley of DA.

So im looking forward to seeing her again as a squadmate in DA3, with her new blue knights armor and the shoes, THE SHOES, I bought her back in DA:O.

This is totally OT, but whatevs.  My Warden and Morrigan also walked hand in hand through the portal, but she didn't get a demon baby (sorry allistair).  I wouldn't mind seeing Leliana in DA3, but I really hope they don't bring Morrigan back.  She was awesome, but her story and the warden's is over.  Unless the Warden is with her.  Which would be weird.

So yeah, seeing as how the first warden's story "is over", I'd prefer Morrigan not return...

To put it back on topic, it would be like if the next Mass Effect game (there will be another, so sayeth our EA overlords) featured Ashley, but not Shepard(or Shepard with no Ashley).  I wouldn't like that.  They wind up together.  Bring them both back if you must, but I would almost prefer they start over with new characters...

You actually think the god baby will play apart in DA3? Yeah, right.

Didn't the Dev's say it would be pretty much impossible or something? I hated the Origins ending (because I knocked up Morrigan) and didn't know what happen to my kid. All I know is that my warden went into a mirror to be with his son... I bet there's piles of scaries in there.

And don't get me wrong, I think it would be awesome sause if the warden's kid was in DA3, it just won't happen...

I hope that it has some impact on the game world. But I also have a feeling that it will be the Rachni Queen in ME3 all over again (just burn her ass in ME1, dosen´t make a difference anyway, and it keeps Ashley happy).

And as Krukow pointed out, the Warden & Morrigans story is over. But I really want to see Flemeth & Leliana return... Otherwise I demand a refund for those f*ucking shoes!

Back to Ashley
