If Flemeth doesn't play a part in DA3, then I'm not playing. I'm dead serious too. I was pretty annoyed Morrigan wasn't in it. At least, Ashley showed up in ME2, but you can't really count that as a victory.

@Krukow Tbh i would love to see ashley in ME4 later on down the road. not seperated from shepard of course. maybe the new hero meets ash during the story and she helps out a bit.

ive got this dialogue in my head bouncing around about the new hero asking about shepard and ash's relationship with each other.

New Hero: "so youre THE ashley williams." "the one that helped cmdr Shepard stop the reapers and save the galaxy"?

Ash: "yep, that was along time ago though".

New Hero: "arent you two married"? "heard about it awhile back".

Ash: "yea, weve even got a kid, a little girl". "ive been on duty out here for a couple of months now...been away from them for to long. im dying to go home and see them again".

I could live with something like that, but you know they wouldn't do that (unless it was just a cameo or something). She'd be a potential LI.

Their story is over. It was great, and I'll replay it many times, but I don't really want an ME4 with Ash and Shepard. I don't think bioware has it in them to create a game with a set relationship (no drama! no ART!), so I'd rather they just start over and let me pick between Jessica, Kelly, and B'lut'funu, the green tentacle woman that everyone will hate when she's pushed down our throats.

So yeah, count me in the "shepley rides into the sunset" crowd.

i would love to end ash and shepard on that note aswell....but we didnt get that. not really. if the mass effect team would just slip in a freaking minor cutscene of ash reuniting with shepard in a hospital or finding him in the citadel rubble then id be content.

Eh, it is what it is. They showed enough. Shep's alive, Ashley knows he's alive (and isn't stranded on Gilligan's planet), etc. Honestly, given how well they wrote some of the ending stuff, I'll go ahead and write my own reunion...

i disagree,they didnt really show much imo.it seems way to open.like theres another story to be told about them finding each other but we wont get to see it.

...how much is there to tell? The Normandy flew away from whatever planet it was on. It had only been running away using FTL (it was clearly shown using FTL in the EC), so getting back is no big shakes. And the Citadel is still in orbit, albiet damaged, so we know how Shep survived.

I just don't think there's much to how they reunite. It's pretty straightforward imo...

i just like to see things happen on screen. that way i know for sure they did indeed happen. if i wanted to use my own imaginaton to fill in biowares lack of story telling. i would have sat back and daydreamed all of ME3.

The endings are what they are. I'll rely on headcanon and Badpie & Ren's fics to give me the sappy love story reunion that I want. Mac Walters can't interfere that way.

I originally was one of the guys that wanted the reunion/happier ending however after finding fan fiction happy with those that I can work with

Me4 I think will take use back to the javik time and I bet we get to play as him.

However if they don't and use one of the ending thinking it will be destroy if they do that you get some link with shep and his/her li.

All it has to be is maybe some news item or something like that

ive come to accept the EC destroy/shepard lives ending as some-what satsfactory. i however will not praise them for it. all it did was turn pure garbage into mediocrity.

but i digress. badexample is correct whats done is done. and it was free. only so much you can expect in todays business world .

Well, in a way I like it I can imagine Ashley/Shepard reunion on my own. It's much sweeter and emotional than BW could ever have done it - and it's no stock scene that applies on any LI.
I just wonder if I ever can get the spirit to continue my own headcanon in written form. I'm out of juice

im just annoyed that i have to imagine it in my head....i spent close to 4 years imgaineing what would happen in a shepard ashley reunion. A REAL reunion...not that one from ME2 that was drummed up to write ashley and kaidan out of the serise because "nobody liked them" in ME1. now the mass effect team is telling me to "imagine some more"? i thought the point of telling a story was to you know,tell a story...not have your audience imagine everything...but thats just me.

@El Capitan: Yea, what the hell, mate? You write so much good stuff, why isn't your headcanon on the interwebz for all of us?

@Wilkco: Interesting idea. The Prothean war could be pretty epic, though it'd be like one big Halo: Reach where you know there's no winning at the end. But if it starts on the Protheans' war with the Reapers, it'd basically just be a longer version of ME3. Or you could conquer all the races Javik mentioned to enslave them all into the Prothean empire

@Ashlover: I've also kind of resigned myself to accepting the Destruction ending. I wish it'd come across better, but if it were an easy decision then everyone would make it, I guess. Had to up the stakes somehow. Love interest reunions, however, are all pretty relative to the player. Even in Dragon Age: Origins they just spat out a vague write-up that your love interest missed your Warden (or they stayed together for awhile). Plus nothing Bioware does will probably ever fulfill the attachment we have in our heads and what we feel our characters deserve. I know that, under that sort of pressure, I'd just say "why bother?" too.

I agree, but i dunno... i have naive faith that BW will add some content that will improve the overall quality of the game. More Ashley being one of those.
