Also if Bioware continued with the Zaeedification of Ashley, what items would you like to have seen in her cabin and what accompanying dialogue would go with it?

I'll toss in the first chip.

- Don't touch that. I took that off a Batarian merc, I think he was SIU. Bastard came at me with that thing during one of our counter-pirate ops. Came at me from the ceiling, drove the damn thing into my shoulder. I managed to squeeze off a few rounds. After that...it seemed a shame to leave it where it lay. Was the second time I ended up in the ICU.

Ashley: It's Lieutenant Commander now, Kaidan. And yeah, I missed you too.
Shepard: Quit talking! Both of you! This is a stealth mission and ... *clonk* ... uh-oh.
Kaidan: Sorry, my fault.
Ashley: Husssshhhh! Something's moving.
Kaidan: That's Shepard.
Ashley: No. Something else.
Shepard: God damnit! I love to have you two back, but -really- I need you two keep your mouth shut.
Kaidan: Aye-aye.
Ashley: Whatever you say, Skip!
Kaidan: Seems the Commander borrowed Garrus' stick in the ass.
Ashley: He's just pretending to be a pro. You don't wanna know what's happening behind the door of his cabin.
Shepard: *facepalms* Great. We're wrong here. Instead of "left, left, right, left" we went "left, right, right, left" - this is bad.
Kaidan: You're right. I don't wanna know, Ash.
Ashley: Better it is. Where are we now, Shepard?
Shepard: *sigh* ... run. RUN!
*room explodes*

Maybe it's just me, but I love Kaidan and Ashley's banter with Shepard together. The highlights of funny from me are their sassy and snarky jabbing at each other in ME1. Team Milky Way is always my fave squad to take. The highlight of depression for me too, apparently (I'm looking at you Virmire).

They're just strong characters that show their "integrity" in wholy different ways despite being forced to take the role of one another. Ash has this fire in her that never tempers, never afraid to speak her mind, she stubbornly never gives in to the shadows of her past, never afraid to be loyal to her beliefs, even if it meant leaving the side of the one she loves most. Despite her reservations for aliens (for sound reasons), she adapts to liking them quickly. And while she has this spunky attitude, she still cares and is sensitive to emotive poetry as much is she sensitive to the sh*t Shepard is putting themselves into.

As for my Sheps, I truly consider Ash to be a big part of their lives (bestfriend in ME1, former lover of my Sheploo). While she gets killed in Virmire for all my Sheps, she was a great loss for me (would've chosen another character to sacrifice honestly). Shep's line about Kaidan being their head and Ash being their heart is so true (at least for me). I headcanon that after Ash's loss, my Sheps became errr...colder and don't snark as often as with Ash.

So, that's why I love your dialogue fic. Missed them in action together, and together snarking and poking at Shep even if it's an alternate universe.

As for the mod question, I guess it was done through gibbed (but buggy, lines get interchanged between various characters and other mayhem...but worth the screenshots).

I did but don't get your hopes up. Unfortunately, that man puts up with trolls on regular basis, so nothing guarantees that he will take my question seriously or that he will even have the answer.

But yeah, it doesnt really make sense why was half of that conversation removed considering it was done and recorded. I bet they found out that would make Ashley's conversation longer than Liara's

I loved that one . It would be a great for when Ashley finds Shepard. It's just too bad we didn't get to see it :?When Ashley is looking at Shepard's plaque (destroy ending) I play the OST Normandy Reborn. I think it could fit and it shows a sign of hope. I think it would fit better when panning onto Shepard's body than whatever else is playing in the backround.
That was for the EC, now for the reunion scene I would have to go with this song

Hmmm, I thought about something.

In the series you can hook up with nearly every character that's on board of your ship. Won't name any of those characters. However, the way how Shepard gets in the pants of any of those characters is odd: in ME2 and ME3 it feels out of the blue, you only have some build up in ME1.

However, that "romantic build up" doesn't follow the standard pattern I experienced in my life.
Well, I found out it can help to get in touch with a girl if you have an aloof phase. That's a phase where you try to be NOT interested in your girl - and you show her the cold shoulder. It may help in a way she thinks you're hard to get and you become a challenge that way.

In ME1 there's no such phase. Ashley and Shepard hook up quite early, they become friends very quickly and run into a relationship after a while. Liara is even more straight forward, skipping the friendship level. Kaidan is a bit more cool at the beginning.
So where's that phase where you think the slowly relationship is stalled 'cause Shepard plays the aloof card?

On the other hand: maybe the aloof phase does only exist for teenagers and <25y old ^^


Also I wonder how Ash would have reacted if Shepard had such aloof phase with her ^^

Cerberus is the mustache twirling villain of the third game. They intentionally indoctrinate their own troops and refugees, they kill Kelly Chambers if you don't make her change her name, and they try to stop you from making peace with the various species (like on Surkesh). Plus TIM is indoctrinated! PLUS, just to bring it home for us, TIM TELLS EVA TO KILL ASH!

So basically, Cerberus' true evil colors are revealed, and Ashley is demonstrated to be right. Hence the poster (Ash hated cerberus while the rest of us were running around being okay with them). Though the poster should say "it became mainstream" because you're referring to hating cerberus.
