Shepard: Oh ... that. *snickers* I think you should count the scatched ones. Should be less than 20.
Ashley: And ... ? That still makes "nearly 20" exes.
Shepard: Okay. Maybe I should explain my system ... the names plus numbers stand for women who asked me to get my number. I never gave my number without asking for theirs. The scratched ones are the women I dated after I got their number. And no ... I never did them.
Ashley: Uh ... huh. Right. That's the oddest explanation for a black booklet I got ever.
Shepard: But it's my system. I never did any of those women. They were fun to talk to but weren't my type. Besides that, the newest number is six years old. We're together for five.

Ashley: I don't want to know what that means, Shepard.
Shepard: Does it matter anymore? Ash, that thing is ancient. I'm yours only.
Ashley: I have to believe you, right?
Shepard: If you don't trust me ...
Ashley: *sigh* I do trust you, Skipper. I just found it and it felt like a blow in the guts. All those women. I tought those were your exes - and the others were still active flirts. Something like that.
Shepard: It's history, Ash. And see ... I just deleted its content. Don't need any of those numbers anymore, just one. And that's yours. *smiles*

Well, Ash and Shep went through that between ME1 and ME3. Not sure if Ash -hated- Shepard, but that love for him took a critical blow for sure.
