Ashley: It´s like looking in a mirror, only not...

i love both of ashleys looks. only problem with ME3 ash's look is her outfit.

1. it dosent look like something ashley would wear. looks to impractical for a practical women.

2. ashley was on duty aboard a warship, during wartime it looks nothing like an alliance military uniform. looks like something from starfleet....

Hey Ash-fans! I was wondering if you could help me with something.

*Extremely minor spoiler alert*

Does anyone know if there's footage out there of Ash on the Rachni and Turian Platoon missions? I believe it's possible to take her on them if you only do one before Tuchunka and hold off the other until she's aboard. I was wondering if she makes any interesting comments.
Furthermore, I've heard rumours of an Ash/Tali dialogue that takes place on board the Normandy after the Bomb mission - can anyone confirm?

The completionist in me always insists that I do these missions prior to Tuchunka, but, well, Ash is short enough on dialogue as it is...

I come in peace :innocent:

Just saw this and you're right that you can do one before Tuchanka and hold off the other. You can also actually hold off both, but is a little bit trickier (and you won't get that Tali and Ash dialogue though).

Interesting lines for Ash if you hold off the Rachni mission: Ash references on what Shep did with the queen in ME1 and general nostalgia over the Rachni. If Grunt is alive and the other squadmate doesn't take priority from Ash, she can interact with him and even be thankful that Shep knows Grunt. In the Normandy, her reactions slightly differ depending on what you did to either the queen or the breeder.

Interesting lines for Ash if you hold off the Turian Platoon and Bomb missions: Ash generally takes priority depending on which other squadmate you take (don't take Garrus or Tali). After the Bomb mission, she reminisces on Kaidan's memory in the shuttle ride back. Back on the Normandy, she visits the memorial for Kaidan and messages Tali about him in engineering.

If you're interested on the sequence of missions that must be accomplished and which other squadmate to take for Ashley to have banter priority in these missions, you can check out my Maximizing Kaidan's Banter Guide in my signature (just replace Kaidan with Ashley and don't edit the gibbed integers 10314). Check sections 3 and 4 in particular.
Good luck on your playthrough~ Ash supports you :wizard:

Thanks!  I'll look that up, I've never taken ash to fight the rachni.

And fellow fans of team Milky Way are always welcome.  I think we all agree we'd save both if we could.

Liara could totally guard a bomb...

it would have either been tali or liara in my playthrough. on one hand liara has way to much screen time in ME3 and it gets annoying after awhile. but tali was so boring in ME1 that she makes a good case for bomb duty aswell.

@krukow, I'm probably too late on this comment but I'm writing on mobile device :P I agree, nothing is wrong with her looks. And I never see any other specters wearing that uniform. Maybe it was assigned to her specially. I like to think she hates it but the regs, or council, have her wear it for some reason :P Just something, because I don't want to think she is wearing it on her own...doesn't fit her character that well. It seems like the ME Ash would want to burn or shoot it if she had the chance, when she saw it. But Ashley did go through a lot, including changes that may have affected her overall personality and character in those 2 and a half years. So to an extent it can make sense, but I still don't except it for her. And I don't think the writers or whoever made the decision to clothe her, went that deep. She should have said a reason for it in my opinion.

It makes me really glad you think so (Team Milky Way is my fave squad) and agree on that Liara sorry Liara fans :kissing:
There are also the rest of the missions in the guide for banter priority that may be applicable to Ash~

Sigh...what I would have given to have this in ME3 <_<

^ that last pic ... poor Ash. She doesn't want him to go, knowing Shepard won't make it through.
I wonder what she was thinking in those last seconds.

Kinda glad the EC ended that extra scene. It has more emotional impact than the farewell scene in London.

Well, for someone who hates that line, Ash has a tendency to use it from time to time ...

Well, I miss ol' sassy Ash in ME3. Some scenes would have been better with "old" Ashley. And the entire presence on board of the Normandy would feel different with her talking much more and being "typical Ash"

P-shaw.  Your Shepard maybe.  My Shepard shot the tube, walking into the explosion to show his utter awesomeness, then was so unmoved by all the exploding that he laid down to take a nap in the rubble, then he woke up later and was waiting for the Normandy.

FACT.

CANON.

Well, mine shoot the tubes too
But Ash doesn't know it in that moment.

Besides that, between the end of the war and the reunion several weeks, maybe months have passed. Unless someone sends Ash a mail later, she doesn't know he's still alive. She just believes he survived in the High-EMS Destruction Ending.

Why?  They left via FTL, they can get back pretty quickly.  I mean, I guess they stayed on Gilligan's planet for a bit to do the ceremony, but it's not like the Normandy needed repairing (retcon: no more holes in the hull or exploded nacells).  And I doubt it took people long to find Shep, anyone and everyone probably swarmed the citadel soon after to look for survivors/figure out what happened.  I would expect 2 days at the LONGEST.

But we all have our own headcanon.

Hmm, depends on the damage of the Normandy. Plus: EDI is no longer functional. It'll take some days to repair most damage caused by the battle and the crash on the planet. Maybe the ship isn't able to travel at maximum FTL speed, increasing time to head home.

Okay, let's say a month at maximum. Shepard is found much earlier, just hours after the end of the war, maybe even earlier. But I guess there's not much left of communication systems at the beginning so I doubt they can contact the Normandy, telling the crew Shepard is still alive.

So yeah, I'd like to keep my headcanon that way ;)

No, not really. I'm just going through alternative options. Nothing else.

Don't really want to end Shepley. Just some stress. Nothing serious. And no, I don't wanna kill off one of them. Again. It starts to get boring ^^
