Can't believe they removed those lines . They should have kept them.

Its not that they necessarily removed them. I asked the guy who posted this on YT and he said he got that files from the game disc, not from beta or anything. So it is highly possible that some of those are actually bugged, not intentionally removed, similar to how Liara has a bug where she doesn't recognise romance from LOTSB.

Is anybody interested in twitting this to Mr. Priestly or Ms. Merizan maybe? To get some confirmation of our doubts. Or do I have to do it? xD

If she's blonde, she's not Ashley but just some random Alliance marine wearing Phoenix armor. And for the orange Quarian: I don't want to offend the cosplayer, but her costume just doesn't look great. It's way too colorful and misses some armor parts.

it would be nice if they responded. i really dont see why those lines were not in the game. would love it if they reintroduced them in a upcomeing dlc.

Been killing time lately by playing through the whole ME series again as a new character - Vanguard FemShep. ME1 definitely felt like Ash and Shep became best friends, there was just some sort of connection there. Haven't hit Horizon yet in ME2, which should be interesting. It wasn't a lot of fun with my Ash loving Male Shep. I wonder what ME3 will be like, since Ash will have far less dialogue. Time will tell I guess.

Once Leviathan is out, I think I'm going to do one more full run with my Ash loving male Shep, just to try and experience it all again, do all those last little quests I missed etc.

One thing I've noticed is how Ash has been sidelined since ME1. It's funny, because she features heavily in all the ME3 trailers I saw. As has probably been said before here, it seems like BioWare just didn't know what to do with her after the Citadel Coup.

I have to wonder, if there are more Mass Effect games in the future (seems inevitable to me,) depending on the time line it would be interesting to see if Ash appeared at all.

@ashman x i think it depends on how you define sidelined. i would say ash dosent have much crew interaction. but if you take her on all the missions once you get her back. she actually has a lot to say.

also from begigning to the end of ME3 she has alot of dialogue (liara has more) but ash is definatley up there way more than tali. like i said i think ash suffers in the squad interaction area. she only has one aboard the normandy with tali.

also all the cut lines would have been awsome and made ashley more interesting.

This. It's almost as if she's in her room just pouting or something.  .... I so wanted to just go down there and have the option to knock on her door and say "I know you're in there, I can hear you caring!"

But on missions, she's as talkative as ever so long as you don't bring Garrus, the dialogue hog. Her and James provide great banter actually. One of my favorite lines from Ash in ME3 was directed towards James of all people; "Get your game face on, LT."

i take ash on every mission just to get as much dialogue as possible for her. besides liara and javik already have their moments i prefer to hear what ash has to say about it.

I'm the same way, I take Ash for pretty much every mission but I make an exception for Thessia because it's not everyday you get to troll Liara. Ash has too much professionalism to do that anymore unfortunately.

Actually bringing Prothy on Thessia makes Liara's reactions weird IMO. If you take him it seems like she is crying because protheans were meddling in Asari's history. If you don't take prothy to Thessia, Liara seems more broken because... you know... her homeworld got nuked :/

theres a humerous part on Eden prime. shepard makes a comment about the prothean ruins and ash jokeingly ask liara if she has ever found a dinosaur. liara gose on a rant and realizes ash was jokeing with her to which ash replies "sure was".

the way she says it makes it comes across as  "wow three years and you havent changed that much, your still kindve a social ditz"

its not mean spirted but i guess you could classify it as a troll somewhat.

Liara bursts into tears on the drop of a dime anyway. Come to think of it, maybe that's why her eyes are so blue. They're very quenched.

The writing on Thessia, mainly Liara, is so out of whack it's insane. It's like you're supposed to give a **** about Thessia and the Asari, who backed out of the war summit earlier in the game mind you, and you're supposed to comfort Liara about it... but MEANWHILE BACK ON EARTH....

It's like in that moment Shepard wouldn't know his ass from his elbow. It's like HELLO?!

It's what makes Javik so endearing on that mission. The "IDGAF" attitude.

yea i got to admit, ash whatchs earth fall to the largest reaper fleet on any front, gets her faced bashed by a cerberus mech, her brother in law is KIA her sisters is in pain,garrus's familiy is stuck on that death trap that they call palaven, mordin and legion die to save millions....but the entire ship stops and runs to comfort the blue princess because her homeworld fell?

i dont hate liara or anything, but it makes me sick the level of speacial tretment she gets throught the serise. and the funny thing is in all my time on these forums ive seen nothing to suggest that liara is so damn popular. dose she have lots of fans? sure. but so dose every other charecter.
