That is true.
No wonder several Miri fans also were Ashley fans once. Not all of them. But a lot.

It's kinda cruel that fans of both still got the short end of the stick in ME3. Miri - a cameo without real significance and a "romantic scene" that's identical to what everyone gets if Miranda is alive and contacted - plus a few more seconds giving you the idea of love-making.

Sad.
Well, Ashley's content is not much better, if you never romanced her.
Plus you get bitten in the ass if you had Ash in ME1, took Miri in ME2 and went back to Ash in ME3 - Miri dies

Don't worry, buddy - you still can headcanon the parts of Miri's romance that's not in the game.
Which is still not enough, but we Ashmancers have some experience in headcanoning lost / missing / bugged / ignored / scrapped / otherwise-no-longer-ingame parts of her character
