Ashley doesn't get shot by her boyfriend. Ashley gets shot by her ex who can't spare five minutes to visit the girl he loves in the hospital.

The first time I watched the uhh..."see you in hell" version of that scene, I laughed out loud. It was like a surprise laugh more than anything.

Even Ash is more cold than the ultimate renegade Shepard. She's dying and fading away fast yet she still manages to utter those final words. ICE COLD!!!!! It's like something straight out of a movie.

I've done the renegade-betray-stab in the back-scumbag Shepard to everyone but Ash. I just can't do it. I shot Mordin in the back, betrayed Wrex, let Samara off herself then proceeded to execute the daughter she killed herself to save, let Tali take a long walk off a short cliff, gutted Legion... but Ash... nope couldn't do it.

I heard that a week or so before release a rumor sprouted up that Ashley was a Transwoman.

It's obviously not true but the thought of seeing the BSN panic over a fake bit of news like that makes me laugh.

And dunno about Talimancers ... I have a friend or two in that group.
But the closest friends I have outside the Ashleymancers are Kaidanmancers. And I think some Mirimancers too. ^^

I get along with the Thanemancers too, especially since we both love Chris L'Etoile.

Yeah no problem I love reading dialogues and stories about Ash and Shep. Oh wow I didn't know you wrote that! I read that a while ago and absolutely loved it! Yeah I read Captains VS DLC I think it was, and saw a link to the group. I also read Auroras dialogue which was pretty awesome too. I guess I didn't recognize your name But I really loved it. It gave Shepard the chance to speak up a more about what he was really feeling and it went into Ashley's thoughts over the whole situation. I really liked the dialogue between them. It flowed nicely and was appropriate at their level of relationship. By appropriate I mean it wasn't so raunchy or too light, it was just right. All that Shepard said, was what I wanted him to say. That's what I always thought my Shepard was thinking, and Ashley too. I wish it could have been what happened x). Don't get me wrong, what we got was awesome, and I'm totally happy with it, but it could've been so much stronger if it was a slight (shorter) variation of what you wrote. Just so it could fit in the game better. Excellent, ecellent job on that one, and I'll definitely read it again. If you do anymore, I would love  to read more of your writing And honestly, it's my fave out of all the stories I've read Sorry this is long...

i'll keep it in mind. if i write anything new, i'll let you know. i was thinking about posting those two conversations as blogs, so ppl could just visit my profile and read. i don't plan on writing anything at the moment though. work has been terrible and i'm just trying to recover. funnily, i wrote that car-crash dialogue when i was feeling like total crap. lol.

Why I do get along with:
Kaidanmancers
Because they're our "sister fandom". We share a lot of drama and tragedy since we simply have to decide for either Kaidan or Ashley on Virmire. And a lot of fans in both fandoms want to save both. Besides that, I don't have any negative experiences with those guys.

Mirimancers
Ash and Miri have a lot in common. I said it before - several Miranda fans were (or still are) Ashley fans as well and vice versa which is caused by the fact both women have those parts in common we value most. Both are strong, independent women, both value their family (okay: Miranda hates her dad but she loves her sister), both fought against all odds to become what they're now.
And a lot of fans on both sides hate the fact Miranda never made it back on board of the Normandy - the banter between her and Ash could have been the best stuff in the series.

Well, I don't have much contact to Thanemancers 'though. All I know is that I support their cause to give Thane a cure in ME3, but I don't think they'll make it
