and yes, his name sounds Russian too.
Nope. Its like telling that Dumpelschtiechel or Schtangenzirkel are German surnames. May look German, but they are not.
To sounds Russian his surname should:
a) "kh" should be soft "h", like in word "how", not hard "k".

have emphasis on "o", MikhailOvich.
c) last to letters should sounds like their brethren in word "such"
Only then his surname could sound Russian. If surname looks like patronymic, usually emphasis moved towards the rear. For example, should his patronymic be MikhAilovich, with emphasis on "a". I've met one man, Ivan FEdorovich FedorOvich. Nicknamed by his friends as "double-F", IFF or FIFA, when he stopped to behave.
As for Krukow, to sound and look Russian his nick should look like Kryukov. Hard "v" at the rear, "yu" forming sound similar to whole "you", "u" in "use", short one or, if you into that, "ew" like in "crew" (but not Krewkov, though sound could be almost same, if I remember phonetics correct). That form is based on word "kryuk" - hook.
Also, if somebody knows why some idiot named AKS-74U style rifles as "Krinkov", please, enliten me.

Because we all know Ash never gets Virmire'd. Poor Kaidan..
Nope. We all know that in team of trained officer, which Shepard is (well, was, before ME3 and his stupid questions and actions), Ashley has zero chances to survive Virmire.

@Rudy: thanks for the long post, I know exactly what you mean
Well, at least you could write something longer in response.

Though I admit, I still like your dialogues. So let's call this one a draw.

Ash will die, unromanced.
As much as I like her character (despite what some of you thinking of me), that should be. Well, not unromanced part - that should be optional, but I'd prefer to see that curve developed. Because from my point of view, Shepard's torment caused by choice he made in Virmire, when he have to choose between person he really liked (maybe first time in his life) and person who has to be chosen based on military "ruthless calculations" has better solid ground beneath itself than that blue baby everybody wanted but no one is happy with. I don't say Ash ghost should haunt his dreams, quite opposite, I'd even include "I'm going slightly mad" subplot into game. Simply put if Shepard ignores his condition and lock his friends out, his condition worsening, his combat parameters (yep, up to that) dropping, he begins hallucinating severely. To those of you who played NWN2:MotB Hunger concept is something similar. Yes, it will be annoying, but unlike hunger, condition I propose has fixed grades and doesn't changes on it's own. Say Shepard has 9 grades if sanity - 4 up, 4 down and neutral (at which he begins game). If he distance himself from friends, his conditions gradually drops and at the end he dies as he has no purpose to live. If he reaches for his friends, improves already existing bonds, his conditions improves, he fights better and at the end he lives, because there is a lot to live for. Stupid, I know, but I think that could be better than what we were presented with. And, unlike certain "Artists" (should we gift them "Dear Esther" to show them what real art is?), I'm opened to critique.
As for movie and as form of protest against poor Ash's treatment... Well, there are seems to be a lot of "movements", so maybe we should organize our own, sort of "waxing carrot for Ash!"
P.S. Could anyone be so kind to lend me a facepalm or two? I just beat KOTOR and it seems I don't have enough at home...

We were many, lost many and the few active fans are not enough to express our desires for Ash to BW.
Then lead, while Y4E is not here. You wise enough to coordinate PP well. Heh, you can even tolerate my rantings, that's no small feat let me tell you that!
