Hey Ushanka, yea I've been away in London for a few days and also I'm starting to become less reliant on Ashley Williams and this thread to get me through the day so i haven't been feeling the same need to be on as often...which makes me slightly sad in a way.

Kaidan: Freeze!
Ashley: What the ...
Kaidan: Ashley. Hold, very... very.. still.
Ashley: Uh? Is this some kind of kinky foreplay LT? I'm not impressed.
Kaidan: Ash!
Ashley: What?
Kaidan: Stay calm and try not to shudder... there's something crawling up your back.
Ashley: Wha-?! What the hell is it?! Is it a spider! Get it off!
Kaidan: Its not a spider. Don't worry. Just let me put a round in it.
Ashley: Don't put a round in it! It's a spider! Get it off!
Kaidan: Its not a spider, for cryin' out loud!
Ashley: Oh thank god.
Shepard: Yeah, it's a rachni crawler.
Ashley: AAH! *berserker rage on tiny kitten-like creature.*
Kaidan: Goddamn it Shepard!
Shepard: LMAO! Sorry, couldn't resist.
Sorry, I've been away guys. Uni+new fandoms call (watching Young Justice + some new sci-fi shows)
My only problem with it is that one of the characters is voices by Nolan North and I keep expecting him to whip out a white, hooded cloak and hidden blade.

Out of curiosity, what did she say instead?

@Rudy:
Yeah, I guess that's the main reason why our soldiers don't carry a ton of stuff with them. 30 kilos are already enough and as long as your supply lines are intact, I doubt you need to store rations for two weeks in the backback of a soldier
Rations? Depends on what kind of stinking hole they going to send you. But ammo - yes. Don't forget, each 30rd mag, for 5.56/5.45 is usually 0.5-0.6kg each, loaded, of course. So 10 mags, thus 300rd already 5-6 kg. And 300rd is not that much. Then you have grenades, water, comms, meds, sanitation, probably spare clothing, not to mention that backpack itself "dry weight" is about 2-3 kg, plus armour, webbing, shovel... It's like rolling snowball: in a blink of an eye you pick up your 120 litres bergen and ask out loud "how long we gotta haul with this load?!" And that very moment you look like snail - with that "house" on your back.

Usually supply lines -are- there.
When seconds matters - help is minutes away. Don't think they'll send expensive helicopter, that could possibly not fly due bad weather, ground vehicles are susceptible to land mines and depends on passable terrain, plus they are slow... And don't forget amount of fuel those helos consume - aren't they thirtsy ones, eh?
So sending "your son fought like a hero" is much cheaper than 15 mln helo, don't you think?

The times when each army had another army of followers are long gone since we do have something that's called logistics today. They hadn't.
However, they were quite mobile for non-motorized armies.
Depends on army and way they moved (and where, of course). If they robbed blind civvies from territories they passed by, plus getting forage for horses... Supply chains were long and big, always.

And you're right about the photographer and the model. Plus the comfortable stuff - my girl once did some photos and her photographer was highly skilled. The main reason why ppl look weird on photos is the "not-photogenic" issue - it becomes a non-issue for a skilled photographer.
Well, it doesn't work for me, so I guess I'm ugly non-photogenic after all. But as I said before - I don't think having "professional" is enough. There is a something else there. Not sure if empathy.

She smiles at Shepard ^^
I don't want to disppoint you, but that's botox...
ME3 Ash look a a way too "photoshopped". She doesn't need that. Remember my words (I think April 17, this year) about how little bit too much of make-up could spoil everything? She was beautiful "as is". Ain't that right?

Hmm, if I had to describe Ashley, I'd say:
- Beautiful brown eyes and amazing brows
- cutest nose in the world
- luscious, big lips of a great kisser
- dark, thick hair
- slender and athletic body
- "sexy" written all over her body ^^

Not sure I want to - I had enough nightmares in my life.

I'd say perfect as she goes in ME1, even though I don't like brown eyes, huge lips and prefer a bit smaller noses in general. But I like her "as is" in ME1.

Ash didn't add too much make up if you ask me. The only issue one may have is her open hair in combat situations - which simply doesn't work. Besides that ... I love her in ME1/2 and I love her in ME3. What I don't love is the content of Ash in ME3: it's not enough, period. ^^

It was a bit flooded in the streets getting to work this morning, but with an F150 4x4, it was actually just a little but of fun for me. No problems.
And I like all 3 Ashley's. She looked a bit different in ME2, remember.
