Okay, the first part I bolded? Fail. Just... FAIL.
ORLY? Why, because I didn't liked something you liked? Or something critically acclaimed and reached many perfect scores?

Also, I just don't like Carth. They give him decent character (he actually gets made if you don't save his son, even though he helped me kill him). I just don't like him. Doesn't help that he's the only one who gets to run off (and live) if you turn evil. He's the KOTOR Liara!
And I don't dislike Kaidan, I just nothing him because I can't keep him in any of my playthroughs. He's not a bad character, I just don't know him.
And anyone who badmouths Ash is clearly worse than Stalin.
Stalin received country with sokha and leave it with nuclear bomb. Just for reference.
But I digress.
What I expect is a bit of consistency (unless you female blue-eyed redhead bard named Leliana). Either we allow anyone has his own opinion and get on with it, since any opinion is "get out of jail free card", regardless of statement, or we have to have more or less detail analys of what we saying, some "table of evaluation".
Simply put, if you say you "just don't like" some character, then you have to allow other people to "don't like" any character, including those you like. Otherwise, your statement about badmouthing looks somewhat double-standard (one is enough) and hypocritical.
As for KotOR, didn't also Mission ran away if you embrace "dork side"?

Big backpack and long hiking will help you.
