The one thing why i'm want to buy Mass Effect 3 is Ashley, of course.

Yeah, duets are a tricky question as most of the ones I know are love songs and I really don't want to go there with Ash and Garrus (or else I would have to replay my canon playthroughs and arrange an "accident" for Mr. Vakarian during the SM and I don't want to do that, lol)

but seriously she'd ahve to be in an already shown enviornment cuz they're not going anywhere near showing the redesigned Normandy. But then that means she'd be seen in combat, which means her Spectre armor!!!!!

From what I have heard they're not going to show a lot more of Ash and Kaidan I believe Casey said that we will get to see ''a little bit more of them'', part of me finds this a good thing: the less we see now the more to see in the game on the other hand we probably wont see where they are taking her as a character and if she's still the Ash we know and love.
Ad yes we do need some more screens, I'm sure they'll atleast give one of her in armor.

That's the Thing Brainheart, she's not the Ash we know and love anymore, we can love the New Ash, but she's not the Gunnery Chief with a Chip on her shoulder anymore.
She's now the second human spectre and in maleshep games the first human female Spectre. I expect her to have alot more confidence in herself, no more of that "I never felt I was good enough for what I was fighting for". I expect her to be a little more relaxed around Shepard (besides the obvious talk about Horizon where there should be tons of emotion).
If anyone's expecting her to be like she was in ME1 they're delusional because you don't remain the same person after 3 years and if she was exactly the same, I'd be pissed because she's then a terrible character who hasn't grown after her life changing so dramatically.

Oh but I agree, infact I really hope she's changed a bit, but what I meant to say was that I hope she's not changed too much, that at heart she's still the Ash we know and love.
I hope she's grown as character, but her bluntness, poetry, jokes, the softer inside and so on, I hope that that is still there, her opinions and such may(should) have changed and perhaps she'll behave a little different too, but the core should stay intact.
I'm sure they won't totally rewrite her, she has too strong a personality for such a change, people would notice that immediately...unlike with Tali for example, who had very little character in ME1. *optimistic

They've never rewritten a character before, why start with Ashley? Liara was written with dealing with the events of her comic where she took on the SB then vowed revenge for Feron and worked tirelessly to save him and kill the broker and that happened. I think the VS should get a comic for their Spectre work, but then again that might deprave us of story time and flashbacks. haha.
Ash: so there I was surrounded by the enemy *does motions like she's surrounded* and then I pull my AR off my back and shoot them all faster than you could say C-Sec.

And I totally agree, the reason that Tali was so different in ME2 is because we didn't actually see much of her character in the first game, but Ashley has strong beliefs and we were able to get to know her in such a short time.
I hope that Shepard and Ashley discuss the past two years and their own experiences as SpecTRes together. That would be so amazing
But what I fear most of all is that Shepard will have a bunch of insensitive, idiot convo options again...

She can't really rally a whole species like Legion with the Geth, or Tali with the Quarians... she's not leading an armada of ships... please, someone give me something she could be doing besides being LOLINDOCTRINATEDLOL

She's a spectre, she can get her own ship have her own mission, she might be by Shepards side till the end...for instance we might need tech and guns against the Reapers! Ash might be a vital part in securing some big boomsticks we can use to defeat the reapers...We don't know that much yet, there is really no need to worry about her part of the story yet, if there is so little known about the story!

I'm pretty sure that that won't happen, first off since she's a permanent squadmember they'll spent more time on her..
and they'll talk in a more normal situation. AND I'm sure the writers now Horizon isn't very well received..I'm sure they'll try not to make that kind of thing happen again. (hopefully not by not letting anyone get mad at Shep again, but by fixin' his convo options)

I swear they indoctrinate Ashley -- Bioware is going to lose sooooo much creditibility in my eyes... that is just WEAK. WEAK *Alex from SF3 voice* WEAK! I hope Bioware writers have more sense than that to create a sense of drama in this last leg of ME 3 trilogy . Why I think it would be weak is that it comes off a cheap way to cover up choices between LI just as cheap as the Miranda/Jack agruement .
