I wasn't offended in any way. Well actually I haven't played femshep yet so my opinion doesn't matter...

@Badpie. No, no it's believable. I've read some stories where they have Shepard lose multiple limbs, too psychologically impaired to perform day to day activities, or in colma for months and months. Yours is still realistic, sentimental, and sensible but isn't so devastating to read. Hope From Ruin provides great canon.....so far ;D
Although I usually just apply all the story and emotion to fit my own cause in mine, Shepard is up and running in a week

I have read fanfics like that too. Well we probably read the same ones and honestly I couldn't finish the stories. Too sad. 

And Badpie writes some awesome fanfics. I've read all of them...multiple times.

Is your Shepard going to suffer any lasting effects from the Crucible detonation in your headcanon? Is he crippled? Suffers some PTSD? What? Does Ash help him through it or does she have her own issues to work through?


Re endings my Shepards chose:

John Shepard - The Destroyer/Synthesizer (depending on development)
Kat Shepard - The Synthesizer/Controller (depending on character development)
Roxanna Shepard (Nee Pierce) - The Synthesizer (regardless of development)
Jon-Mal Shepard - Refusal/Destroyer with deathwish (Ash died in his final run, he wanted to join her.)

He is very sorry your Shepard's have such messed up imaginations that they actually thought they could ride explosions and heal from fire  HE SENDS HIS CONDOLENCES.
So yeah, right now Liam Shepard is eating pancakes on the normandy with Ashley  for every reason...

Time Laspe? Why not play again? The ending is pretty good not (imo) and you get lots of great Ash stuff. Metagame if you have to and side with the quarians

I just can't work up the nerve to do it again. A part of the reason is because it's the last game in the series and it'sjust like what's the point?

And i'm going to have a poke in the mirimancers thread. I'm curious to see what's going on over there.

Yeah some fics are pretty gruesome. I read one where Ash shoots herself in the stomach after the wall scene from the EC. Its like WTF?

I've kind of abandoned mine to be honest. I've been writing a Law & Order fic though on my phone. I downloaded a sweet notepad type of app. So whenever I got a free moment at work or something I'm jotting stuff down.

EDIT: No ending BP?? I love The Renewal (even though he is a renegade Shep ).
Although "Just shut up and drive, Skipper" is pretty good for the end :happy:

Yeah no offense to the writers but its like... that's a bit much. Or fics where they're going at it like jack rabbits every chapter. I'm not picky, but I still prefer a slight bit of realism.

Its like the 24 fics I've read. There's some real gems but some make Jack look like a descendant from Ivan the Terrible or something.

I'm no writer but if I wrote a fanfic it'd be filled with happiness and sappiness
And maybe some realism...
Do you guys think Ashley would be up for interviews and stuff after the war? Maybe when she had time? (although I doubt there would be much)
