Even after digging through all of my dictionaries I still cannot to understand what meaning you placed in this phrase. Since English is your mother's tongue, apparently, would you be so kind to explain me what you meant?

Hmmmmmm, I hear Thessia is SO MUCH BETTER with Javik. I'm going to bring him next time I play through that terrible mission.
No "so much", but better. Pff. Anyone, go register "Javik™" brand and use next slogan: "everything better with Javik". I guess mustard will go. Or horseradish.

It was waaay easier to die in ME1 that the other two games.
What? It was easier to die in ME2/3 than in ME1. In ME3 mostly because of space-do-everything-bar and in ME2 partially because of that, because of getting stuck in geometry and general suckness of combat system.
krukow wrote...
I'm also trying to replay through ME1, but starting from scratch, and that game is impossible on any level above normal...
What? Couple of weeks back I begin to play ME1 at Insanity from scratch. No issues. Game adjusts a bit to your level - enemies has lesser shields, for example. But yeah, game tells you that retreat
is tactical solution, not cowards' move. Especially on Luna.

Using ME2 and ME3 tactics in ME1, will get yo a** killed fo' reals. The enemies actually move around in ME1 and flank you.
Yeah, only few people understand that because levels are HUGE! It's so easy to get lost there...

My gun overheats every 4 seconds now.
Well, let it cool-off (about 7-8 seconds, right to recharge your shields) and find better tactics. You still have all 4 guns, don't you. If Kaidan "wnihey biotic" Alenko managed to kill Colossus one-on-one, why can't you?

It actually makes me miss heat sinks.
THE HORROR.
Heatsinks are horror. Meaningless, badly implemented horror.
krukow wrote...
Yeah, it's great once you get upgrades and stuff.
It sucks when you're starting from scratch when you're used to level 50+ shepards.
SUCKS I SAY.
No, it doesn't sucks. Unless, of course, all you dream is WTFPWNAGE from second 1...

@Taboo- I prefer the ammo system of ME2 and 3. I like how easy it is to choose different ammo types and how you can hotkey them as well.
Explain me how soldier can actually affect ammo in his gun? "I bound you to my will and now you will be tracer"?
Not to mention that I don't understand physically how it is possible to make "grain of sand" fraction to say "explode". Or I don't get how it is possible to speed it up to hypervelocity (especially ME2 50 metres per second) in first place and if it just grain of sand, why there are those big barrels?
So I say ammo should be additional "mod" as it was in ME1. You want tracers? Put them into.
And if they failed with proper soldier's skills selection, well, it barely guns problem.

What if I told you...I preferred the guns in ME2 and ME3?
They all sucks, though at least ME1 projectiles velocity seems to be closest to Codex, allowing you near instant hit on distances up to 400 metres. And their grade system is not as meaningless as ME3's.
I'd prefer niche/form-factor/role weapons, one per each. Say light/medium/heavy carbine. light machinegun, etc. To some extent, ME2 approach was closest to that, but a) projectiles velocity sucked, sideways and royally,

firing mode shouldn'e be weapon based, that's just cheap-arse, c) heatsinks.
ME3 system has a way too much lot of redundancy and meaningless guns. Not to mention weapons' grade system. Physics anyone - if gun became more powerful AND lighter it has to have higher recoil and muzzle flip or climb. Or how come Palading, weighing less than Widow, but packing 40% of her power and manages to deal with about ~35% power per weight recoil distribution? Not to mention upgrades. Head explosion blah-blah? Grain of sand? Explodes? Space magic...
