I hope it is Ashley on the moon in the Apollo 18 movie. I can see it now "Ash bites back at those people who hate her for no other reason than to hate her"
:P

*crashes through the two-way mirror lurkers are always hiding behind*

Fellow Shepleyfans! I need your help! I- I just... alright, on one of the "what would you do if your LI died" threads, someone mentioned a Jennifer Hale interview where some potential bad news can be assumed for the VS in ME3! What have you heard about this? Is it just an unfounded rumor?

Please assure me that Ashley will be safe (at least optionally safe)! My John Shepard wouldn't be able to function if he lost her. And I would be a panda that's sad to an epic degree!
:crying:
Edit: I know you wouldn't be able to assure me, but any vague hints that might give me hope?

This is all we know. We can just speculate about the context of those text lines.

Hmm... too many variables, not enough info.
What ME2 conversation are they referring to? Horizon? There is only one way that conversation can end! They must be talking about the one with Kelly after Horizon! ....or maybe the e-mail! If Shepard is the one yelling "let him/her go," it could be choice related! Too many variables, too many variables-

*paces while muttering like Mordin*

I thank you, TobiTobsen. It makes me feel better to read the actual article. Certainly nothing definitive, possible cause for concern, but certainly too many variables to make a conclusion (if any). Must wait until March... begrudgingly.

Once again, my thanks. *bows*

This was talked about some pages back. Their was allot speculation on
it. Without proper content we have no idea what Jennifer Hale was
talking about. Basically I wouldn't get to worried about this. Plus
sometimes magazines and news articles misquote people.

It unlikely Bioware will take control out of the players hand, it could be a
result of a choice the player made. Plus Ashley is a LI their not going
to harm her or kill her off just for shockvalue.

Bioware knows what these characters/Romances mean to their fans. It would be down
right stupid just kill them off, unless it's a result in the players
action. Remember you had to go way out of your way to get Squad Mates killed
in Mass Effect 2. I'm betting it's the same in Mass Effect 3.

That's Debatable. I would disagree with that, Drama within the Romance is always better than a Tragic one.

Considering that Bioware said that they wanted to give us a satisfying resolution with the characters I have to doubt that they'd unavoidably kill off the love interest even if we can't get all of them to survive them entire game.

Ashley will not turn on Shepard. All the romances (even Kelly's that doesn't get the paramour achievement) will have a satisfying resolution. I can imagine Ashley, when she's done with field missions, being an Admiral or human councilor. Same with Kaidan. Councilor Williams has a nice ring to it don't you think?

Dunno about being a councilor.

Though she'd get my vote if she punched the Turian councilor

Whew, well this is certainly re-assuring! Thanks for putting things in perspective! :D

The conclusion to the Shepley romance is one of the main reasons I'm so hyped about this game. I can't wait to see how Bioware rekindles it and how it will be handled throughout the game.

Oh, and...

Yeah? Well, you know, that's just like, uh... your opinion, man.

But seriously, I don't think so and I hope Bioware doesn't think so (unless it's optional. That's what makes ME such an awesome and addicting game. Options to mold events based on you actions). Please give Shepard the option to have a happy ending with the lovely Ms. Williams!

That would actually be a cool and ironic turn for Ash seeing as she hates politics. It would certainly make for great character development. I see her becoming a admiral though in the future, I doubt she would touch politics.

You know, I kinda hope they don't do such an epilogue of years in the future, because I'd rather leave that to my imagination. I'd rather have it end a few days after the reapers defeat or even straight after.

Hair seems to be much improved over ME2 judging from Ashley's hair. I'm actually excited to see what Miranda looks like now that I've seen how good Ashley's hair looks.

It's been brought up that Ashley's hair color has changed along with the Style. Bioware changes or Ashley' changes?

I'm inclined to believe Ashley changes. Since I 've had friends go form baclk to green hair before. ti can be something to switch up her style to go with her New or not Spectre status.

Her hair is a lighter brown now (still pretty dark though) Plenty of women change there hair colour all the time, so yeah it's a Ash change. If it was somthing dramatic like having red or blonde hair now then yeah, I would be against it. She looks great.

Can't wait to see the bun toggle for her =3

Anyone photoshopped her old hairdo onto her new outfit yet?

I'm not too cracked up about the bun toggle. I'm all for the helmet keepingher hair out of her face, but the Bun just seems too "ME1"-ish with Spectre Ashley.

what is wrong with the bun? I loved that bun on Ashley, it was a little loose, like she put her hair up carelessly and in a hurry, but at the same time it was so very much a practical get to the point Ashley.

I'm not sure how being a spectre suddenly removes that practical part of her personality.
