I respect your opinion, but i disagree

And that would be great - Shepard sacrificed himself on Virmire so those two has to move on on their own... So who "working with Cerberus" now, huh?Posted Image

What's there to talk about nowadays? We're pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel for topics lately.
Well, proper leader could guide all these efforts into something useful, not just random talks about how to play "Nothing else matters" on balalaika with goalie blocker and catcher. Especially if there are no strings on balalaika, only your shoe laces. Posted Image

You called rugby wrong. And you play it wrong. In some armour, like it's hockey.

I'm not buying the dlc, seen it on youtube. Doesn't seem like enough to warrant 10 bucks. *shrug*
People are lucky who use the default Shepard XD You guys can just watch it in YouTube and there you go, it happened with your Shepard lol
Nuh, I have better option: mine's wearing helmet all the time. So in few cases where he isn't I just saying "man, that helmet really compress your face!"

But srsly, what there to watch, 2 strings?

Mine isn't. Mine is much more beautiful than me. Posted Image
sporeaddict101 wrote...

What motivated me to buy it was the hype about them saying to bring your LI's and stuff.
You still believe them after all they've done?
"Gift for you!"

Who said he tells you the truth? He could be ****ting you outright.
sporeaddict101 wrote...

Okay guys time for a question that may or may not has been discussed before. Do you think Ashley should have visited Shepard and told him her letter in person, be fine with Shepard reading it on the console, or having the audio letter included in the game?
According to vids I've seen, no. IIRC she said she couldn't brought herself to.

Since I cannot think as female, I don't want to see female that acts like me (within limits, of course). I already met one IRL, thanks, thats enough.

Interesting. Did it ever come to your mind that you don't need to project yourself (your behaviour, your choices) into a (female) character, but you can estimate her/his behaviour - what would s/he do, based on her/his personality, history, psych profile, etc.? It's like watching a movie or reaing a book, but through eyes of the your character, you are part of it, too. You know what I mean?

Rudy Lis wrote...

Nuh-uh. Mistake. Over means "I await your next transmission". Out means "I no longer await any transmission". "Over and out" is like ME3 story - conflicts with itself. Posted Image

There's no conflict. Works as intented. :P

How could I know? I'm just stupid concussed, amnesiac foreigner...
I have no problems playing female characters per se, Mara Jade, Lara Croft, Fallout characters, CommandosPosted Image, Space Rangers, King's bounty or Resident Evil 5 (mmm, southpawPosted Image) - to name few.
Problem with, say, ME is, that character is not that predefined and developed and not that very much different from male character (at least to extent I was able to play): Hale instead of Meer and gender-based differences in speech. So what I should estimate here? Same actions only made by female character? Ah, yes, "Cortez!" vs "STEEEEEVE!"Posted Image

Soo ... g'day everyone. I'm back.

@Krukow: I read your review, 'though I don't really concur on the Ashley-stuff.
Well, in a way I do: Ashley's romantic content is done in a very sweet and mature way in ME3 and those two extra lines in Leviathan fit the set.

However - and that's something only a dedicated Virmire DLC could ever fix - Ash lacks any generic interaction. I'm currently replaying the series and ... I -really- miss Ashley in ME3. The Ash of ME1 is one of the best developed characters in that game and it's really easy to build up feelings for her. Either you love her or you hate her, but you'll have your oppinion on her at the end of the game.

In ME3, there's simply not enough stuff for Ash. There are not enough lines showing her true character, there is virtually no hook-up-fluff. If you're new to the series in ME3, you'll never learn how Ash got fans. Because the only content she has is the romance. But can you romance someone that looks pretty but you don't know anything about her, especially since Ash doesn't provide any fluff once you romanced her in ME3? Nah, I couldn't. It feels as if someone decided to remove any redeeming parts of Ash and reduce her to someone with trust issues.

I want my Ash back ...
Playing with old Ash in ME1 leaves me with hurt feelings since I know such moments won't come back. Actually, Garrus in ME3 feels like Ash in ME1, when it comes to interaction.

@Rudy: the game is more for two ppl to find out stuff about each other. It's flirty ^^

And nah, ME1 Garrus felt okay. He was quite young and felt a bit inexperienced, nowhere close to the badass he turns in ME2 and ME3. I think he feels a bit like Vega - minus the smartass part ^^

Young? Aren't turians conscript everyone into army since age 15 and they serve for about same, plus probably above that, plus, unknown years in LE? Garrus is anything but young and inexperienced. A bit reserved due change of environment, given the circumstances (he was perfectly nice).
His "loyalty" quest did look odd a bit, though.
Okay, I'm out for Formula-1.

Rudy: compared to later Garrus?
Yeah, ME1 Garrus felt young - like someone between his 20 and 25. Does anyone know how old he truly is?
Take in mind not every military position results in badassery ;) I'm sure Garrus had only basic training at 15 before deciding for a career as cop for C-Sec. He was already in charge with his own case, which gives me the idea he already climbed the ladder a bit - and he reported directly to Executor Pallin. Maybe he's in his early thirties, like Shepard.

Still - Garrus feels more like a civilian than a soldier in ME1. Like a cop.
In ME2 things change and in ME3 is a die hard soldier. Badass like hell and most likely the trusted lieutenant of Shepard if Ash is not around. But it has been a long way to that point - and he took a rocket in the face for that ^^

They better win, or else I'm gonna have to deal with all the Liverpool supporters bragging. But at least they're NEVER as bad as the United fans. The United fans never shut up lol.

And I went out on Friday night, took a few drinks, found some money, had a laugh. All in all, the night wasn't bad.
