Stuttering followed by a squeal of delight and - I don't effing know. Lol.

Silver I guess. Goes with her complexion better than gold does.

:).

In my head canon my Shepard told Ash he had a question for her but he saved it for later. She wanted him to talk but he didn't.

Hey guys, I just watched the ME1 romance scene again (Really beautiful in my opinion)

Anyways, remember how she wanted to tell something to Shepard? Was it that she "Like Liked" Shepard...

She wanted to say 'I love you', but refused to and kept it over his head as insentive for Shepard to return after facing down Sovereign and Saren.

Shame Shepard never brought it up, would've been a sweet moment for us ME1 romancers.

Does that mean she said it before the collectors destroyed the Normandy? Because he had returned to her at that point.

I actually head canon that she did. Helps explain her hurt when she finds out he's still alive.

Possibly.

Would actually add a whole new level of guilt to her survivors' guilt from the SR1. Most people in pop-culture see saying 'I love you' as famous last words or a jinx in military shooter games. Usually means one or both of the couple will die in short order. Or something will happen to permanently seperate them.

She outright admits 'We had something special, real! I loved you!' when confronting Shepard on Horizon. Shepard loves her too. Technically they both admit to being in love during the locker scene during lockdown.

How do you guys think Ashley would look good with naturally cut, short hair?
I think she'd look very hot with something like this.

I just think it helps explain her anger in that first meeting on Horizon. For starters, she's overwhelmed the whole time, so not the most rational. But at first, she's relieved that he's alive. Then, she starts to realize that he's been alive for 2 years and not contacted her (she doesn't know that he was dead and ressurected, that comes later during ME3) and she gets angry. As any normal person would.

Honestly, once you think it through, he actions on Horizon are completely understandable. She sends the email later when she's cooled down.

Her original concept had a pixie cut. I prefer her with long hair, but in my Post-War headcanon, she gets a pixie when she makes Major. It grows out again when she becomes a mother.

But why does she look so different between Horizon and and the start of ME3? Wasn't that only a few months later?

However long between Horizon and the suicide mission and then 6 months of house arrest.

All she did was let her hair down, get less sun, and wear more make-up.

okay, she looked different, but plausibly different, if that makes sense (spelling?)

Would have considered that the oppisite way. Women tend to cut their hair shorter the older the get... something about being easier to take care of or something

I just expected to see her in an Alliance uniform. Instead, she's wearing... whatever that is. When she's in her armor, it's cool. But that blue outfit looks so stupid and out of place in the Alliance.

As far the make-up goes, it isn't a bad thing, but she's supposed to be a soldier. In ME1, she was tough as nails or at least appeared to be. Same in ME2. But I didn't get that impression in ME3. She looks like she just walked out of a salon at the beginning of ME3.

Yeah, in my post-war fanfic and headcanon, she wears alliance uniform and buns here hair up again. Also, wears regular armor on battlefield. She also duel weilds omni-blades when neccisary.

They changed everybody's face at least a little bit. I mean Liara got changed significantly from ME1 to ME3. Way more than Ashley. To me, I think they shouldn't have changed anything about Ashley. She is the kind of woman who has that natural beauty about her. In ME1 she always had her hair up with no makeup, yet she was still very beautiful. A lot of girls would kill to have that trait. She don't need no boob job, cheek job, or anything to make her better. Personally, I actually think she looked prettier in ME1. She still is beautiful in ME3 but...that's just me. The hair down was a good decision but other than that I don't think they should have changed anything else, IMO.

Vega's biggest fan is back!! :)

I don't think she got a boob job, or any of that stuff, I think her clothing just accentuates what she was before.

she's wearing a miracle bra and such now.

And yeah, she was much more naturally beautiful in ME1. But I'm fine with both looks.

I love both looks. I attribute her change in dress in ME3 to her promotion. She isn't just a grunt anymore. She has to deal with important people on a regular basis as well deal with politics. She has to dress and look the part.

A lot of characters got boob jobs. I simply sat there and wondered how Liara was able to cross her hands in ME3.

But the only boobs my Shepard saw over the course of ME2 and ME3 were Miranda's and no one saw anything in ME3 so I imagine they stayed the same size.

well, your waifu was the harbinger of the sexy makeovers.  That's why she didn't have to change.

They gave her a new model actually. New hair do just like you state. A make over.

But this model is from ME2.

Nu-uh, you Loco!

Haha! Yeah she's wearing a miracle bra. And the suit could be just very, you could say...shaping.
I still think ME1 look suits her more, but it's all part of the character arch. So I am fine with both.

I don't think her casual outfit is that bad. It does mess with my headcanon though. In my headcanon, Ashley is not the type to wear something like that. She would have taken that outfit home and burned it.

Yeah, Ash's 'casual outfit' while she's in the cabin is the only one Shepard pays attention to. 'Specially since it consists of his hoodie and nothing else. :P
