As I have written before, Im 1000000% convinced, that Ashley´s change from butch to Barbie, was to market her to the average money spending consumer, who just wants something pretty to look at, and dosen´t "talk back".Igib wrote...
She can definitely be a soldier and still look like a woman. The problem is, like Data pointed out, about "the essence." They simply took the only real woman in ME and turn her into another $2 wh0re. Why? We already got Miranda for that. The reason behind the change is missing. But hey, some moron thought it would soooo cool, so they did it.

Thank you for posting, but seeing these just makes me heartsick at the Virmire choice... The only squadmate I lost under my command in ALL of ME...
Wish I could've had EVERYONE in the finale...
I agree. The pathos evoked in this event is probably the only real choice of mass effect that makes a difference. The stupid thing is I prefer Ashley for the most part until ME3. The plastic surgery she had was a turn off.

I'd dump Liara in that Virmire sacrifice in a flash. If only to keeps her from hogging all the other media and DLCs. Goddamn it, I hate how her character has developed. We've gone from being able to gleefully ignore her existance for 95% of the first game. To being a part of story-based DLC and progression in 2, to being pretty much Shepard's best friend. She's not my friend, my Shepards (as extention of myself) do not like Asari. Half the crap she has should have been reserved for the Love Interest for cryin' out loud! Almost all of it has a romantic subtext and to cap it off, she's a f*ckin' drama queen after Thessia! I wanted to deck her so badly...
How the hell does she think Ashley feels? Shepard? Kaidan? EVERY GODDAMNED HUMAN ON THE SHIP feels!?

If it was too much to ask that the option to save both VSs to be added back into the game, then asking for some more VS time is off the table.
I mean, is it too much to ask that the VSs not be interchangable? (apparently yes) And not be limited to just a few interactions and most of their content wrapped up in the Citadel standoff (Again, apparently yes)

Sigh, but sadly that's the way the gaming world works now. <_<Aurora313 wrote...
I don't want a DLC for content that should have been included within the final product in the first place. They should have included it ALL in the final product in the first place. Instead we've gotten a glitchy shallow ghost of what could have potentially become a masterpiece.
Also, Liara's a dialogue wh*re. (No surprise there)

^ Yeah I know... Not much of her me1 personality was shown in me3 sadly, I missed that too but I still liked her looks a lot more in me3, they should just have let her have the bun on missions so her hair didnt get in the way lol. ^

Rudy, you have a tendency to cut the important parts and leave the unimportant ones left.

My main focus was on her character - that has changed more than her appearance.

I still don't see anything wrong with a military woman doing something out of herself appearance wise, a woman should look like a woman and she can do that without exaggerating which I dont think Ashley did in ME3.
Whats wrong with looking good as a military woman? It may distract the soldiers but other than that, nothing comes to mind
