I'd say ME2 characters are leaps beyond the characters in ME1.

well bioware have fixed the kiss in their eyes by removing it from the date scene all you get now is they go in for the kiss then fade to black then you just go back to the presidum and ash has vanished

what a tease not not even saying cya later.

thats got to have some good Dialogue there waiting for cptdata or Aurora to think some up

IMO ME1 is the best! Even though it is the worst for graphics, gameplay, and most of the voice acting, its emotional and chariter impact is what makes it great.

Plus all Dat Ash and the couple of seconds of Dat Ash Ass is totally worth it!

I love :wub::wub: the story but some things I don't like is

Combat
Side missions(love the dialogue in them though)
Graphics(not surprising)
Level Design
Mako
Inventory
Autosave
Bugs (way more than ME3.)

Aurora already did a great one like 2 pages back. I loved it

eh ME1 seems kinda small to me. The expanded galaxy in Me2 and other made it feel like an actual place not just the citadel and everything controlled by it. Me1 does have a nice retro feel to it though. It was nostalgic even when I played for the first time.

Autosave killed me my first two playthroughs of ME1...I got used to the combat and even came to like it. The elevator music was awesome because it was a cheesy remix of the ME1 theme song. Side missions did seem a little repetitive. I liked the graphics somewhat. When Shepard would raise his brow it would actually crease the skin, and wasn't already ingrained into his skin. Although ME2 and ME3 added more detail to the face.

@Aurora... the way you describe it makes me think I made the right choice in not going to Uni or college or whatever. It might be different here in the States but yeesh.

I'm on board with the "less time for ME" train. I only primarily post when I'm at work on my phone. I still play multiplayer but that's because I gave away most of my games to my brother (COD..etc) so I don't have any multiplayer games besides that pretty much. Between work and pool PT's, I just don't feel like playing much. I get home I usually just pop on Netflix and relax for awhile. I still have only completed the EC once and haven't even bought the new DLC. I'm just waiting to ship off to boot camp nowadays. I did an IST yesterday morning and kicked ass at it.

Tl;dr.... the forums are more or less just a time killer for me lately.

it is also summer time and most gaming forums slow down a bit wait till october when the weather goes cold and people will start trickling back in.

i play eve online and the same thing happens the numbers drop of during summer then october it starts picking up again.

im quite surprised at the volume of fan fiction still being produced but i suppose that is due to the non LI reunion destroy ending gives people something to work with.

also have you noticed how that when on the citadel you get james laira and tali but ashley is only on there when you have the hospital and date scene but you get liara over in the corner all the time.

i was expecting to find her hanging out in the specture office when you go in there

That´s because her specter status is a BS plot device tailored for the coup scene. Ashley is a hotheaded front line soldier not some slick secret agent.

For people with issues with the Date Kiss.

Ash definitely has the power and determination to be a SpecTRe, the problem is she lacks the discipline. She's an officer, and a damned fine squad leader but she doesn't have Shepard's silver tongue...
Silver handgun maybe.

As Shepard and Ash work together I see them as the good cop, bad cop combo. Or rather: Bad cop, bigger bad cop.
