Haha Data... you're really not much of a kid guy are you? lol.
The second one will be called Ashley. Pfft. I actually don't know what the hell I would call a daughter, but a son.... Sam. No question.
Told ya, buddy
I'm no kids dude. No dad material. I rather enjoy the life as a guy with a girl and double income - well, at least I hope for that. She's currently in job training, no income, and I'm still looking for a new job <_<
But two incomes ... well - 2x vacation, 2 or 3 weeks each, a year? Sounds like a deal. Besides that, despite being a lazy dude, I'm also quite restless.
Where's our top Ash, BE?

No doubt. Elena, Eleanor, Elaine... they all are very beautiful names.OneWomanArmy wrote...
^ Yeah me too ^
Edit: And SJNKD I think Elena was a better choice, I like that name
The Elena I know is not that much of a beauty. Too big "dumbo-ears" - kinda cruel to say that, but she definitely needs a cosmetic surgery - maybe in a few years.. She's 10 right now and the cousin of my fiancee.
Besides that, she's nice, a bit spoiled, but not that bad. Single child.
Well, you better get a second one, SJNKD
Lol I know a few kids that could use a cosmetic surgery too, maybe we could send them all to the same doctor?

Well, you know me: I'm 30 and still say the same like you do: "not for another 5 years at least".
But actually, even if I'm 40 I'd say that. It's just not the right time. Besides that, do you really want to have kids in THESE DAYS?

Well, if it happens I won't force my girl to abort the kid - and I won't run away.BadExamp1e wrote...
I'd have a kid in 'these days... 5 years + from here' if I'm with someone that rocks my world. I'd like to have a kid in my late twenties I think. Some guys simply aren't father material. There's some lousy as hell one's out there. You knock her up, you look after her. But if I was you Data I wouldn't hold off much longer. =P
I just hope it doesn't happen. God thanks for prevention ^^

well im 36 and i agree about the right time right person thing plus these days not a great time to raise kids
bringing it back to ash and shep do you think that ash/shep would be together/married and have kids or do you think they would be just together/married without kids ?
i do not see ash wanting to give up her spectre role to soon maybe when she is a bit older maybe

Hehe. No.
I agree. Ash wouldn't give up her title as SpecTRe so easily. Shepard wouldn't give up his either, but I do believe he'll retire from the military after being promoted Post-War. He'd use his SpecTRe status to remain on the Normandy for as long as Ashley does, and leaves when she does - the same way she does. And if that means through a body bag, then that's what will happen. A few years after the war, after both economy has gained a semblance of stability and the mental scars from the War have begun to heal, then maybe Shepley would consider bringing children into the equation.
If that were to happen, say a decade or so after the war, then I imagine that Shepard and Ashley would move off the Normandy - if it hasn't been decommissioned already by this point - and take up permanent residence somewhere. Either one of two places:
- on the Citadel. Ashley could have become the Head/Leader of the SpecTRes and Shepard might finally take the council up on the 'Human Councillor' position.
- On Amateratsu, Ashley does the same job as above, but Shepard spends most of his time indulging in his model-building hobbies and taking care of the children. Maybe letting his hair grow out a little and slacking up a bit on physical training - not letting himself get cuddly, but no longer the peak of physical condition.

I don't see Shepard or Ashley as the marrying type - at least, not with the pomp and finery associated with weddings nowadays. They'd probably go to space book and change their profiles to 'married' and that'd be that.

i was thinking that but with space travel being so easy i do not see them settling down on amateratsu to soon maybe having a beach front property to chill out at when on downtime
i see the allaince decomissioning the normandy and it becoming ashleys and shep's person ship with joker being kept on as their pilot. the perks of being spectres
nice to see other people seeing ash as the head of spectres not shep.
