Who are those people?

Also, the talk about skills made me curious. How does your typical ME1  Ash build look like?

For me it's this:

Depending on my main squad, I might put a few points into First Aid, mostly taken away from Pistols...

Mines usually pistol enough to unlock shotguns, assualt rifle max, combat armour max, fitness max, soldier max, and then try to balance shotguns and snipers with remaining points
and a fair bit in assault training too btw

@elek; Hey that makes a lot of sense! and it got me excited for a dinner.

But one problem, Ash said she would only wear a tin foil miniskirt and thigh high boots after a dinner...she's basically already wearing that in ME3 from the start. where is the continuity in that? =P

@mrhouse; Haha, so actually the Horizon conversation could have taken a very different turn...Posted Image

To say it clearly, what I take from that is the progression of the romance will depend on how fast we resolve their personal storyline and we probably won't have to wait till the moment before the final fight of the game to get some honey and I don't really care if there is any actual dinner ;-)

@elek; Well that's kinda what I got out of LotSB too, that the romance wasn't just court someone till just before the big moment of the game and then have a romance scene. I was really happy about that in LotSB

and really it would be a little silly too have us woe Ash all over again like the romance never happened, so that change seems very likely and is very welcome

hey! That's my job!!!! :P

Actually... the second tweet seems like a good thing to me... b/c Shepard got some very nice romance content in LotSB.

HOWEVER.... the first tweet worries me... a more "mature" Ash!? Blah, sounds boring... I want a fun, flirty, really sarcastic Ash.

I loved the lines like... "sorry, I'll be serious" ... I like to think she is very playful and a big tease. Mature, doesn't sound that great, sorry.

@Reed; well, mature doesn't neccessarily mean, she can't be fun and flirty..but I wouldn't expect her to be a big tease anymore, yu've been in a relationship with her before and everything around you is going to hell. I think she´s more mature in her views of the galaxy, namely her view on aliens.

I know plenty of mature people who are sarcastic and fun!

Oh and someone had to take over in your absence! Lol.

Mature doesn't mean no fun ... it just means that she is older, wiser and better! But I like older women. Ash looks like she is in her late 20's early 30's ... yummy ... er, I mean nice!

There enough "girls" in the game, hell even the new Femshep looks like a kid to me. I thought my femshep was in her early 30's when ME3 happens not 20.

Hey, I'm mature, kind of, and still snarky and not too serious at times, mostly when I log into the BSN ;-)
And that tweet was an answer to a question regarding her "xenophobic" tendencies. Click the link connected to my post about the tweets and you can read the full correspondence.

Well your Femshep will still look in her early 30's if you don't change to the new "kid version" And I don't think Ashley will change too much from the person who makes snarky remarks about thigh boots and tinfoil mini skirts.

My new Mass Effect 1 team (at least on Insanity) is always Ashley and Wrex.  I like the variety of seeing Ash in that paragon position as well.  Given that Wrex has no Med skills, I build Ash like:

Pistol: First special
Shotgun: First special
Assault Rifle: Full
Sniper Rifle: Advanced special
Fitness: Full
Soldier: Full
Med: Advanced special or Full (lost count)
Combat Armor: Full.
Assault Training: Full

I think that's everything.  Husks and Creepers are tough, but oddly enough she'll last longer than Wrex, who I specialize with the Shotgun skill.

There's a big difference between 25 and 28 in general.

Add to that that at 25 Ash is a simple soldier shoved into a whole lot of mess and while instrumental, still basically just along for the ride.

28 year old Ash has been doing god knows what with who knows who and shouldering massive responsibility that she probably never dreamed of.

So yeah. To not "mature" at all would be a ridiculous notion.

Yeah - I mean her and Ash  are working hard to the save the galaxy  getting covered in  god knows what - they deserve some pampering  and a trip the Spa every now and then.

How can anyone brush the Chief off as a racist Bible thumper and still call themselves RPG gamers? The only way you can judge her as such is by not listening to what she clearly says. Therefore the bigots are those who judge Ash!

What do you mean by that?

I don't think there's anything wrong with showing apprehension from what a dev tweeted.

Part of what I loved about Ash was her spunky, kidding nature with Shep.  I found her mature and at ease with herself in ME1 simply because she stood up for her beliefs.

She's probably been through hell and God knows what, but I don't want her to be distant with my Shep for the whole of ME3.
