Yeah. Unless it was really classified N7 only stuff, My Shepard always tells Ash where he's going - if its too the store or off to storm a fort. There are a lot of Freudian reasons for his attachment to Ash that I'm not willing to get into right now for lack of energy, but in short - he's not gonna lose her again. And secret keeping destroyed their relationship once, he'd not gonna let that happen again.

Am I the only one getting the Michael/Fredo Corleone vibe from this? LOL

"I know it was you, Ash. You broke my heart. You broke my heart!"

Or......

Shepard: I've always taken care of you, Ashley.

Ash: Taken care of me? You're my boyfriend and you take care of me? Did you ever think about that? Hah? Did you ever once think about that?

I could go all day with Godfather quotes. I'm like a ****ing encyclopedia..

Well, that's what my Shepard thought till that day.

I don't want him make lookin' cruel or something, don't worry. He absolutely regrets he had to do this.

It's pretty much non-N7 - and non-Spectre stuff as well.

It's highly complicated and simply too much for anyone - including Shepard. However, he feels it's his duty to do that job. And some parts of him -do- understand what's going on, mostly the stuff he got squeezed in his brain by the prothean beacon but ALSO (!) by the Leviathans as well.

Explaining this to anyone? Shepard believes no one could take it. Maybe he even tried to explain at some point but no one was listening - pretty much like before the Reapers became too obvious to be denied anymore (read: when they fell off the sky). It's just highly frustrating for him nobody listens to his words, despite the fact he always had been right before.

That's all. And no, he can't take the time to explain Ash - well, at least that's what he believed in that moment. Later Shepard learned it was one of his mistakes on his long route to ... well. I'm about to figure that out ^_^

Eeh...

I haven't really thought on my head canon much lately. Only the scene where Fem!Shenko and M!Shepley are reunited in ME3.

Basically, twins showing affection in their usual love/hate fashion, the VS meet+greet. Then Cerberus kicks up movement and we get four badasses going into ass-kicking mood....

That's it very basically. I've been preoccupied with Dragon Age recently.

@CptData.

For some reason, I can't see Shepard shooting Ashley - to wound or otherwise, in any circumstances. Or maybe I'm just projecting my Shepard onto yours. At post-war, the only reason he's really able to keep living any more is because Ash is there.

God I miss chatting with you guys. Real life sucks.

Well, you're missed here either. Lots of good dialogues missing.

Actually, I intend make my Shepard doing everything to accomplish his mission - even shooting at Ashley if needed. He would never do that without a damn good reason and in this case, it's far more kind of a threat than the Udina's coup. Also I make him aiming for a non-critical part of Ash - he doesn't want to hurt and NEVER want to kill her.

Still experimenting with that scene in my head. Maybe adding some more lines here and there, but in the long run, Shep knows Ash. She won't let him go and he HAS to go. He also has no time to explain everything since he doesn't fully understand it as well. He just knows he has to do it.

Main purpose of that idea is to put a huge load on a relationship that's dead already. Ashley's trust issues are one cause, but the biggest weight on the entire thing is Shepard's inability to explain his doings.

Why does everyone assume that shooting you in the leg won't kill you?Posted Image I can assure you, they emphasised in combat first aid that due to the large amounts of critical veins in your legs, it was absolutely vital to treat them with the most urgent speed. You have a better chance of surviving a bullet in the gut than one in the leg.

And because of that, would you be so kind to answer on two more of my question to you:
1) 2+2x2=?
2) Sphinx. What this means to you?

My sister saw her for the first time. Her first reaction:
"She's not what I would call 'cute' - but she's a really beautiful woman."

Damn right, sis.

She also pointed something out: she's with exception of some details pretty much the same type of woman like Ashley. Never saw her like that, must say Posted Image

Beauty in the eyes of the beholder. Cuteness, I guess, there as well. Because I remember cases when particular person has been called beautiful or "exactly what you looking for" (including by people who served with me in LE, so they were proficient in describing persons' lookPosted Image), but when I had a chance to visually evaluate person, well, let's say my opinion was a bit different.

I guess lack of anatomy knowledge, combined with lack of practice wielding firearms.

To spare author's dignity, in case we respect author, we can always assume it was trauma shot from easily desintegrating ammo, similar to bismuth bullets or door-breaching rounds. Due presense of hard plates in ME armour and lack of interlocking design, it is possible that round will desintegrate and not penetrate, energy will be taken by armour element, but due lack of proper support and absorbtion, energy transfered to wearer, would be enough to knock wearer down with quite a painful hit. But other than big bruise, several minutes off and, well, dignity loss for character (and problems to get off the bed next day, and day after that), it's nothing really dangerous, because underarmour could prevent too much movement of plate towards wearer's innards, thus limiting possible damage to mostly surface ones.

Well, "decoy" - yes, but "nice" is about eyes of the beholder.

Plus, if she is daughter of that acqaintance of mine, I know how she look like and if she is not, well, I don't think that really matters.

And speaking of decoys... On Cidatel checkpoint:
- Commander Shepard, eh? I don't exactly like your photo in your ID...
- What's wrong with it? Second row, third from right, that's me.

Despite using an old Ash pic, this is set some years after end of ME3. Shepard vanished and Ashley's orders are to find him and bring him back to Earth.
I'm currently trying out how different scenes for something I'm working at.

Ashley: Stop right there and put your gun down!
Shepard: Didn't expect you here, Ash ...
Ashley: Don't "Ash" me, Shepard.

Garrus: Williams please, calm down.
Ashley: Garrus, you too? How could you?
Shepard: Ash, listen to me. I was standing there waiting to use the pay phone.
Garrus: Yeah, he was, seriously.
Shepard: And some guy who was on the phone, turns around and tips his hat like this.
Garrus: And who do you think that guy was?
Shepard: Emilio Estevez.
Garrus: The Mighty Duck man, I swear to God, I was there.
Shepard: Of course you were, you were the one who yelled the Breakfast Clubber’s name.
Garrus: I was like, “EmiliOOOOO.”
Ashley: This sounds like a poor dialog from some stupid comedy. Drop your weapons, NOW!!
Shepard: Ash, turn around and start walking, please.
Ashley: Not today Shepard. *points gun at Shepard*
Shepard: I didn't want to end that like this, but you are not giving me a choice. *pulls gun out*

to be continued.....

Nah, I don't care, really. BG1 was great, BG2 much less, IMHO.

Btw, what do you think about "dragon gauge 3: no rays, no music"?

If I can get no-recycled caves and a hot 3-some with Leliana & Isabella... I would buy it!

If not... I would probably still buy it.

Well, shooting in the legs does not -instantly- kill you, but it does slow you down for sure, while a hit in an arm doesn't mean the one is taken down. Plus: Ash has medigel. She can patch herself up or stay alive long enough until the Normandy sends an evac team. Besides that: if a man can survive both of his legs blown off by a shell, he should also be able to survive a gunshot wound.

I saw Band of Brothers where one of the guys (Malarkey?) shot himself with a Luger in the leg. The bullet went through the leg - vertically. Resulting in a deep wound that also wasn't deteced until he bleeded to death. So I guess it's all a matter of time: if enough time passes, you can die of that wound. If not, you have pretty good chances not only to survive but also don't lose a leg.

A gut-shot is always a gamble. If you're lucky, it wents through and doesn't hit anything important. If it hits your stomach, you have very good cards to die. If your liver is wasted, same. Intestines - well, you have a chance to get through. But as I said, it's a gamble.

I'll stop with all those ugly details for now :innocent:
