I don't really care about screenshots. And I was being facetious. PC gaming is okay, but it's not for me. Gaming using a keyboard is just...awkward.
I agree, but the PC Master Race would tell you the opposite.
Plus, you have to spend A LOT of money just to have something to run all these games now. No thanks. I'd rather buy my $300 console and not deal with the headaches of PC gaming.
Have you tried to play a FPS on a PC? Not cool at all. Only certain games are good to play on the PC and those certain games, I don't play.
Gaming PC's are pretty pricey. However, you can build your own PC, but how many people know how/have the time for that?
Hell, you can get a console for less than $300 these days.
Ok fair enough.

PC gaming sucks.
Yeah, only because of multiplatform games, made primarily for console markets and not ported properly on PC. With PC-friendly controls, graphics, HUD, save anywhere, not on those stupid checkpoints, list goes on.
Time Laspe wrote...

Not sure if serious.
I played Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, Call of Duty, Half-life, Mechwarrior (not exactly FPS, but not that much difference, really), Rainbow Six (before it was sacrificed "in the name of consoles" and turned into brainless shootah), Ghost Recon (likewise), Dark Forces/Jedi Knight, Hexen/Heretic (not sure they qualify for FPS), Duke Nukem (except Forever), Serious Sam, Redneck Rampage, Rise of triad, system shock, Shadow Warrior, Delta Force, Far Cry, CnC:Renegade, STALKER, SWAT, Thief, Vietcong, Deus Ex, Project I.G.I., Soldier of Fortune, SIN, Z.A.R. and lot of other games of this genre, including latest multuplatform installments, like Metro 2033, or BF3, or Medal of Honor.
Wow, I played a lot of FPS... Hm, I guess I need to use this in next argument when some of my friends accuse me in hating this genre.
Regardless, I can't say all of games I played were cool, but that's game dependant, not platform.
Time Laspe wrote...

And only certain games are good on consoles. Wait, they good with gamepads, not on consoles. Well, if developer port them right, not like Onimusha 3 or Resident Evil 4, or Devil May Cry.

You can't make an omelet without breaking eggs or what's the saying? You have time to play games, but no time to build proper rig for it? Or at least spent money for it? Of course, given "quality" of few recent multiplatform games one may ask what's why you need a PC if game looks awful regardless of platform, but see my first reference above.
Time Laspe wrote...

Well, according to local stores, for 300 USD you can buy only very basic version of console. Since I don't know what's the difference...

But seriously. Yes, I do believe that man will be on Mars in this lifetime, because of the rapid speed of technoligy.

Pretty much the same for me, just the otherwise around: why should I restrict myself to a device that hurts my hands after 1 hour of gameplay and reduces my abilities to a lot less than I could have with mouse-keyboard-joystick?Time Laspe wrote...

Nah.
My headcanon-Ash is more open minded here: she has both. Her comp is more for "serious" games, her console is for the "casual" fun games she loves to play with Shepard. Pretty much the constellation I'd have if I wouldn't hate casual games.
@Rudy:
Not to forget: you can mod on your PC and you usually don't have to pay for "normal" multiplayer games. X-Boxers have to pay for multiplayer access ... games are 10 - 15 bucks more expensive and they're not more or less bugfree than PC games anymore. Plus: the XBox360 is outdated compared to mediocre today-computers.
But that's a different part of the story and highly depends on what you wanna do with your PC / console. I like modding and I don't want to pay for extras that should be free.

Is it at all possible to mod ME3 Ash to have ME1/2's head and hair morphs? (I really hate her new look)
Is it worthwhile bringing an unromanced (as in broke up with her due to Horizon and in favour of ME2 romance partner) Ash back aboard the Normandy when you can?

I have tried looking for a "bun" mod to ME3 Ashley, but no luck yet. But I have seen a Femshep with ME3 Ashley hair mod... It looked pretty weird.

WEll, I don't know which of those games I own are casual, but some of those games I consider to be "casual", I like. Generally they still fall into 20 hours limit, though. IF they actually get there at all.

Not need to tell me about mod, you know my admiration toward Operation Flashpoint/Armed Assault series. that's real, that's hardcore - developers could even got in jail for espionage! Beat that, bioware!

And don't forget that consoles are sold at loss, otherwise their price couldn't be cheaper than relative price of components they are made of. Otherwise I don't understand something in mathematics.

In theory - yes. On practice, well, there may be glitches.

I walk against majority here (heh, what I can do more against majority than leave Ashley on Virmire?) and say "nope". Unless you need a soldier with her set of skills (I don't). She practically a placeholder of former self, so unless you adore every sound she makes (otherwise how can anyone like two strings from her and being happy to pay 10 bucks for them), of course, and that's not much. I guess even ME2 Ash is fuller than ME3.

Not sure if it's possible. It should be possible if the heads of ME2 have the same bones like the heads from ME3, in that case you should be able to mod her head. However, Ashley's old head doesn't have that "low neckline" like her new head has ...
In short: heavy modding involved.
Ashley's comeback on board makes only sense if you need her either as soldier (squad) or as romance. If you don't plan to use her in the field and don't want to renew that romance, Ashley is a waste of space

She brings the same amount of "things" as most other characters, besides the squad banter :/
If you are someone who likes to interact with companions, every companion is a must have. I agree that her friendship arc is a bit "void", but in ME 3 all of them are, except Liara's and Garrus'

I think Ash is amazing - in ME1. She got some pepper in ME2 ... but losses a lot in ME3. Most of the stuff of Ashley I have in my mind is either from ME1, ME2 or headcanon. ^^

Is her armour used by anyone else, thus her armor is separate and her head is separate, or armour comes with head? If this is single piece, than what's the problem, swap back from ME1/2 and don't bother anyone. Yes, you won't have "cutie armour" from ME3, but it'll be old Ashley, no? Not sure for "uniformed" heads, since they, apparently, changed uniforms meshes as well, but in theory her armoured head doesn't have that cleavage part...

Well done? Well done?! One eye-ball licking (apparently removed in sea-food DLC), and "sex" scene, that's the "romance well done"? 95% percent of charm was in dialogues back in ME1. What's there in ME3? "Nice to see you" and "you damn space pirate"? Pfft.
IIRC trust issues are present regardless, no? Especially well done is "swim-suit" part, laughed my arse out. Yes, sure, whatever. "Not swimsuit".
No, Data, you're my friend, but truth is more my friend - ME3 as whole and ME3 Ashley in particular is anything but "well done". Unless that's well done botched job, here you're right.

I agree with you on this one. Her development was (in me 3) reduced to trust issues and was done very vaguely and poorly. If they had kept all the recorded but cut lines, and allowed us to actually ask her some questions we would get much better character development and presentation. Combined with her ME 1 character, it would be a vell developed character but as it stands now, they just failed with any concept they had for Ashley in ME 3.

Besides, I don't recall any cutscene-type dialogues on the Normandy, only the Zaeed-type ones, with Ash and that was a shame.
