@ Aurora: Yup she is emotionally screwed, I agree. But the stakes are too high for her to let emotions to cloud her judgment, if she had just taken a moment and actually listened to Shep, it might have all been avoided. Something like, "I understand, but I cannot follow you down this path."

@Valdrane; Ash is an passionate/emotional person...Shepard returns from the dead, she didn't know, you have been rebuild by cerberus and then show up in a cerberus vessel, simply stating don't work with cerberus, etc. doesn't make you very believable. She still believed you in the end, after she cooled down, She still trusted Shepard, but she didn't trust Cerberus, Cerberus might be using you, for all she knows, that is not beyond believe, keeping everything they do and have done in mind.
I understand you'ld be mad at her (I was too), that's what happens when people fight, but I don't really understand why you've a hard time to give her a second chance?

2Valdrane78 - if I knew my boyfriend works with terrorists, flies on their ship and sends a reports to their leader about every step - I'd really doubted if I ever knew this man. And don't forget - it has been two years and she can't be sure Cerberus doesn't control him (rememver - Miranda told that she wanted to implant Shep control chip).

Though, I don't excuse Ash there - I was angry after she told those things to Shepard!) But I can understand her.

Oh, in that case forget about the last thing I said Posted Image

Last thing I wanted to mention about it though: Ash's e-mail to Shep:
I wouldn't have expected you to work for Cerberus, but I know why they sent you to Horizon. I saw how many people were lost there, and if anyone can stop the Collectors, you can. I can't go where you're going, but I can wish you luck.

That's basically her stating what you wanted her to say, right? I think ash understood you in the end. Posted Image(ofcourse it was a mistake to only let her send this mail to Sheps who romanced her)

Edit: @Elek that made me think we really just need one standard copy/paste sheet that refutes all Ash-bash arguments and we can just paste that whenever another B-Ash thread pops up (Ignore the silly pun) and be done with it.

I don't know such people :) On words they might give it, but in heart they continue to doubt - it's hard to tell yourself 'calm down and think of facts'.

I like bad puns, i cannot lie.

I am rather proud of this post, because it is the first time a couple of people replied saying that they actually changed their opinion because of it.

There are some screens on 185 of Ashley's sexy new hair. Not sure if those pictures are new or not though.

Shepard can contact Ash, it's called hitting Reply.

Ash: So you still have that e-mail?

Shepard: It was from you.

Ash: But you never replied.

Shepard: There wasn't a reply button.

Ash: (laughs) That is the worst excuse I have ever heard.

Shepard: (hands Ash a datapad) I'm not kidding.

Well, the second Normandy was a project of astronomical price...they had to cut sots somewhere.

Plus, there's that whole...crucial, controversial, very secret mission thing going on.

You guys do realize that sheploo is "scruffy" as well, right?

I'm a straight guy and aside from the derp faces (that every character has btw) he's good looking.

I don't think my customShep would count as scruffy though...

Very nice! Default Shepard is scruffy, but...he's also very pretty. I like custom male Shepards because even though they're not quite as handsome, they usually portray...a harder look, more appropriate for a soldier. Not that Ash doesn't deserve a man who's got it all, but I like a happy medium.

That's wonderful. It's so easy to these topics come up time after time and just be desensitized.

Yeah normally I don't bother anymore. But once in a while, there is a day, where you just feel like jumping into the fray once more. I am really glad, I did that day.

Hmmm (Warning; I'm about to go off the current topicPosted Image) I was wondering whether Shepard will still call Ash 'Chief' as he did in ME1 despite her promotion to LT? Cause I always felt it was kind of a pet name, it would be cute if they could put some sort of conversation about that sort of thing.

I apologise in advance if this had already been discussed.Posted Image

I would love that, in my head they will still call each other Skipper and Chief when they are old and grey and I think I have mentioned it before, but with new people coming to the thread all the time it doesn't hurt to bring it up again, so no need to apologize, we have little new info to discuss anyway.

I figure they'll trade between "Lieutenant," "Ash," and "Williams." But then again, Shepard was called "Commander" in ME2 despite no longer being a part of the Alliance military.

I like seeing the supporting arguments for Ash and Kaidan, in contrast with the loud haters. I wish we could find the best posts in defense of these characters and put them on the front page. I know we disagree on some things, but overall this is a support thread and we would look good if we were organized.

Lieutenant is massive. Chief was short and cute. Shep can call her LT, though it doesn't sound fine for me.

I find myself agreeing with people, like actually in ME1 Ash was calling Shep Captain and such when he was only Commander, I suppose I just think of these ranks as pet names for each other

To me LT is reserved as Ash's nickname for Kaiden in ME1, but that's just me. Ash will always be "Cheif" to me regardless of rank.

If he calls both Ashley and Kaidan LT, then BIOWARE won't have to record as many lines, perhaps? She was an Operations Chief last we saw her, so it's possible the title will still fit in some way.

Funny story, my canon shep once said that she looked absolutly dashing, so know he always calls her dASHing (bahaha, moar! puns.)

Another Shep always calls her sweetie-pie, 'cause she hates that...He's such a tease.

I agree though, not LT, that's unoriginal...RavASHing is also a good one..(Ok. I'll stop now Lol.)
