What was so bad about her personality in ME3?

What personality? Somebody with trust issues?
Or empty shell of former self? I haven't played whole game with Ashley, but friend of mine sent me a heap of saves before every dialogue in game she participate. Sorry, I failed to notice much of old personality.
Even if her string-for-string amount of content is on par with other characters (at least some of them), overall representation is pretty bleak. And she is not the one with that issue. Just to keep it honest.

Oh, wait, that's wrong one! Here is top Ash.

She doesn't have trust issues.  She's just the only one who isn't stupid enough to be all "Derp, I'll just follow Shep around and do whatever he says cuz derd de derp."

Shep was part of a terrorist organization.  Not only that, he "died" and came back.  She has every reason to not be totally sure where she stands with him, and where he stands overall.

I don't think her personality changed noticably.

Well, given lack of any personality in ME3, it's hard to say.

What was so bad about her personality in ME3?

She lacked one.

Well, that's wrong, but her character got reduced by so many features we loved in ME1, my statement is kinda true.

Miranda trusted Shepard more than Ashley did. And she's known him for less time.

Miranda > Ashley

Miranda > Ashley

Miranda was one of the terrorists.  Of course she wouldn't have a reason not to trust him.

Also, she wanted to put a control chip in him.

Also, she totally sat out the war so she could babysit her sister.

Also, she cheats on shep if you romance her, it's in the dossiers.  This is in-game canon.

Ashley >>Miranda.

Lies and slander. You and I both know about the timeline.

Miranda's Loyalty > Ashley's nothingness-ness-ness.

Shepard: Hey Miranda, I could really use your help in this war.  We can even look for your sister!
Miranda: Mmmmm.... Nope!
Shepard: Please Miranda, we've been apart for 6 months.  I want you to come with me!
Miranda: Mmmmmm.... Nuh-uh!
(Miranda hands Shepard 25 war assests, dissappears for the rest of the game, probably dies)

Ashley's by Shepard's side right up to the beam run yo.

Miranda will be there for Shepard before Ashley even gets her ass off of planet Wha-zoo.

Miranda's TLC > Ashley's tardiness

Oh,  you mean Miranda's actually going to show up for something?

You sure she's not gonna leave shep to rot in the hospital because she lost her sister again?

Seriously, Miranda sat out the whole war, I wouldn't be shocked if she didn't bother to visit shep in the hospital...

Miranda will oversee his recovery. She knows her man's body inside and out.

UNLIKE ASHLEY.

That was the old Miranda.  The new Miranda doesn't do that "science" stuff.  That's why she cancelled her subscription to the journal and took up better homes and gardens.

Miranda is probably barefoot and pregnant when Shep gets out of the hospital with her real love:

Oh, really? So all those "Cerberus&you" talks were just delirium?

Damn it, I'm tired to retype how stupid that behavior is, because nobody listen anyway. Either you trust someone, or don't. Unless you blue-eyed red-haired female bard named Leliana I expect consistency. Especially from somebody with extremely questionnable promotion and somebody who witnessed relatively highly ranked officers behavior.

What's really funny about this whole thing is how stupid it makes the arguments against Miranda look in the Miranda thread.

She wants to work and she loves Shepard and wants to be with him.

LOL NO WE NEED A ZOMBIE.

The mirithread is crazy.

I don't even get how half those people like Miranda.  It's like they played the first half of ME2, stopped, and canonized her character from that.  The stuff on her LM and at the collector base doesn't even exist.

Ashley's still better though.

LOL, yes.
