So in an attempt here to join the conversation and say hello. I gotta say in my adventures of modding the PC version of ME3, specifically, romancing Ashley with a Gibbed save and my femShepard, was pretty great, at least for screen capping purposes.

 

As for the dialogue, the whole thing had been muted with auto subtitles on Shepard's part. That is, until the final romance cutscene when suddenly Mark Meer came out of nowhere in the first main part of the romance. It then went in and out but I near lost it laughing so I had to redo it to get the caps I wanted. 

 

Though, given FemShep's vastly smaller size/height than MShep (grumble grumble should've had body modifiers), when they went to kiss, it was a bit... misaligned.

 

And given my Shepard's nose is rather predominant...

 

"I guess this gives a whole new meaning to the term 'nose job'."

 

Regardless, it was a fun experience, and when I have more time, texture modding is next on the docket.

It's back and kicking on the new bioware forums. I twas closed with the rest of the section for a while but we're back in business!

Now I feel like doing a whole new Ashmance playthrough again just to relive the greatness.

Most of these are based off or have been completed with considerable assistance from Getorex, Ashley3444, WarrrantyVoider and plenty of others (the acknowledgements page is huge!)

 

Most of these are in WIP stage. Ashley armors work in game, but am right now struggling through creating a squad preview image for them. My filleting skills are crap.

I think I installed an Ash enhancement mod - either from you or another modder. My ME3 Ash comes with shorter hair and the standard Alliance outfit. And the patch also "corrects" the romance scene issue. Ash won't have a bra after the "encounter" with Shepard before the final mission

That's Getorex's work.

If you go for survival, it's Ash. For the bad4ssery, pick Garrus. They're both great in what they're doing.

I would say Ashley very easily. I give her the Black Widow and before I can shoot a bad guy, Ashley takes him out. I have given the Black Widow to Garrus and he has a slower reload rate than Ashley. I also find he has a hard time using a sniper rifle than using an assault weapon.

I use the sniper rifle myself when I need to fight someone at a distance, so I generally keep Ash using the Revenant. She's good at suppressing the enemy. A bit too much at times - sometimes she'll lay down so much fire that the enemies stay in cover and I can't get a clear shot at them.

 

I tend to have that problem on Rannoch, outside of the old geth factory.
