200 Pages and no dancing Ash?

I started replaying ME1 for the first time in ages last night, gonna do a paragon run instead of renegade for once. Ahh...Cheesy Shepard <3 Some of his lines are so bad I don't know how Ash fell for it.

I think Ash suits a renegade Shepard better, or is that just me? Not Crazzzzzy renegade though. Nobody suits that guy.

....That top picture is hot.

yeah, I understand what you are saying, mega. I have trouble seeing Ash fall in love with both extreme ends of the P - R spectrum, too. Personally, I think Paragade is the best fit, but Renegon, too.
(My Alliance Poster Boy Paragon moved on, he is with Jack now! I just love that contrast.)

Renegade is too much fun, I'll probably end up straying to paragade at some point. Posted Image

It's funny. You can go down the paragon or renegade road with Ash and it changes her views and character. I wonder how that'll work in ME3. Probably nothing will come of it though

I've never romanced Jack yet. I've only completed ME2 3 times? Posted Image

I don't think they tracked those developments in the save games, because everybody acts like Shepard is their best friend regardless of how you treated them in ME1, an oversight while creating the first game probably.
- Well, if it wasn't in the save game, it couldn't have made a difference within the first game, so there must be another reason for this.

I hope they learned the lesson and it will make a difference going from ME2 to 3 how you treated people in 2.

And I am rather curious how Ashley will react to Ewan being best buddies with an Ardat-Yakshi?
edit: By that I mean if she or any other squadmate will comment on decisions we have made so far, like after the SM and they told you what they think of destroying/keeping the base.

Damn ... everytime I see Erica Cerra this mysterious voice in my head keeps telling me that if there's ever going to be ME movie .. She has to play Ash, period!

It's like Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine .. simply born for that role!

In my mind paragon Shepard and Ash works nicely, surely they have pretty different views on things, but Ash can't resist those cheesy comments! And even if he's paragon, he's still first human spectre and stopping the greatest threat in the universe..Ashley respects that and sees that even in an overly romantic Shepard, I think they go along fine as a couple.

I don't think it's likely that she'll comment on that and even if she did it'd probably not be more then one line. I have a feeling that the reactions will focus on big decisions from the previous games and ofcourse the game itself. That would be a pity, but I suppose it's realistic.

I also hate how nobody on your team detests Shepard as a person, or atleast simply dislikes him. It looked like Jack wasn't going to like him to me, but well that changed quickly. Hey, can Ash dislike Shepard as a person?, 'cause I don't think I've ever been a jerk towards her (how can I Posted Image), but I doubt many here have though Posted Image.

If there is one thing I want with this new character, James Vega, I want him to question absolutely everything that Shepard does. He's an experienced solider with no idea about the political underworld, unlike Shepard - whom for the first parts of his second life - spent his time in the anarchy of the Terminus systems. Quite frankly I prefer the lawlessness of the Terminus to the Citadel space - and in my opinion, dealing with that lawless zone helped to develop Shepard's general character and only increase his bad*ssery since the council washed their hands of him and he essentially became a Freelance agent.

Vega - according to Bioware - has had no such experience with the deeper politcal behind-the-scenes and even if there is a sense of admiration towards Shepard, humanity's first spectre, I think that all of the Spectre's backroom dealings and alliances with pirates such as Aria would give him pause and reason enough to question Shepard's actions. Maybe he could act as a negative/positive depending if Shepard is paragon or renagade respectively...

Or he tried to steal Ash away from Shepard during the timeskip.... NO ONE steals Shepard's Ashley.

I agree, That would be a good role for Vega, he can kinda take that over from Ashley, but in a different way. (Ashley would have moved on from that viewpoint anyway) It would be interesting to see him growing from a soldier, excited to join the team of Shepard, into someone who's dissapointed in Shepard, when he realizes it is not as he had imagined.

If he steals Ashley, there WILL be an unfortunate airlock problem, just when Vega is in there...Although, perhaps Ashley doesn't agree with that and since she's pretty much Shepards equal now (in status, she already was as a character in my opinion) I migth have to drop that idea. (So many ideas around Vega, I hope they'll release some more info on his character.)

Shepard: You... and Lietuanant Williams met up in a bar on Elsium. *points to door* That is the airlock on my left, Mr Vega.
Vega: My hand to god, sir. It was just harmless joking, I swear.
Shepard: *nods knowingly.* The Airlock is still to my left, Vega. *walks off* Careful you don't end up on the wrong side.
Vega: C-commander? O.O
Joker: Rule one, rookie.
Vega: 'R-rookie'?!
Joker: Never EVER try to steal the Boss's girl.

@Aurora; Posted ImageShepard doesn't really care about the Reaper threat it seems, he is always busy with 'important' stuff like that...He just doesn't have much room for the Reapers in his agenda.

Harbinger: Shepard, your species time has come, we are arriving at this very moment
Shepard: Right now!? Look i'm a busy man..right now I gotta go to court, then I'll have to meat up with Ash..It's a full program...
Harbinger: Those frivolities are of no use, prepare to witness our return and your salvation.
Shepard:  Let's see If I can squeeze you in somehow...How does next wednesday sound to you? Let's say from 2 till 3 PM?

Sorry if this has been already talked about... I was wondering something about Ashley, we know she'll be a spectre in ME3 but is she right from the beginning or does she become one during the events of the game? Maybe it would be cool to sponsor her the way Nihlus put Shepard's name forward back in the day, and do some missions together, the way Nihlus intended with Shepard.

If she's already a spectre from the beginning, maybe those missions could make a cool DLC, a prequel of sorts. Liara had her DLC, now Ashley can have one, too. Thoughts?

Well, I know I haven't talked about it :P But Judging the fact that she's already wearing her spectres outfit (you can see the logo on her gloves, I believe) when she is on the Normandy saving Shepard from the reaper invasion on earth (as seen in the demo) I conclude she is already a spectre.

A prequel DLC seems hard to do as it is rather unlikely that Shep would be with her...unless you actually play as Ash ofcourse! I'm not really a fan of a prequel DLC myself, unless you actually PLAY as Ash ofcourse!!

You guys and your dialogs........lol! Someone do a christmas one!

Judging by the Earth demo I'd say Ash is a spectre before ME3. A lot of people seem to think that Ash and Kaidan shouldn't be spectres. Which is bull, they're both dedicated, loyal to the Alliance and good at killing. The council needed another human in the spectres, and Ash and Kaidan are obviously the best for the job. I'd even go far enough and say that Ash was probably being evaluated during ME2 another reason why she didn't join up with Shepard.

Well I tried to write a christmas dialog, but my mind immediately went to the present...you know... the ''present'' Posted Image (Well if you have a mind like mine you'll know) and I couldn't think of anything else after that sooo I failed in my noble task...someone else will have to try.

As for the Spectre thing I agree with what you just said, it's totally plausible thatt they are specters, but they both aren't very popular characters so that's probably part of why they don't want see Ash/Kai as SpectrePosted Image

Shut up brainheart! That's just dirty........lol! Why did you have to bring up the 'present' again? Why? I had completely forgotten about it. Lets bury it in the backyard now...

Try your hand at a halloween one then and no 'trick or treat' either. >_>

True enough, Ash and Kaidan are not the most loved characters in ME (Garrus is.) But who cares? They're loved by some and we know they'll have a big role in ME3. Which is gewd, gewd, gewd.

Six months now...hehe.

Sorry about that...BUT why the hell did you put "trick and treat" in that context?! How can I ever think of ordinary trick and treat again now! You're just as bad as me...(ofcourse it's in your name..so that's more expected)

*Sound of shovels digging (in the backyard)*
Shepard: Ashley? why the hell are you digging in a graveyard.
Ashley: Why do you think? It's halloween, don't wanna leave dad in the ground, right?
Shepard: ...W-What?
Ashley: family tradition Shepard at halloween we dig up a family member and go around trick and treatin......

Damn!...You see that was going to be a perfectly normal(=disturbing in a normal way) story and now it sounds dirty...
OK I admit that I had no idea how to finish the dialog, but still.(Ash was kidding, about digging dad up btw)

And I don't care about the hate, just saying it might be why they don't want her to be Spectre...A those dreaded six months...In which I still want to play through ME2 a couple of times...is it just me or is ME2 less replayable then ME1, it always starts to be a drag around the halfway mark for me...and only the ending bit I find interesting again.. Pehaps it's the lack of Ash?
