@ADL; and that's another one of my favorites! I hope we'll see more Ash of both of them in the future! and from anyone else too really. You can't go wrong with moar! Ash. although I still doubt about this one because of the hair style: I'm not sure if I like Pixie Ash...

It's one of my faves because it's femshepley. It's so sort of hard to find Shepley art, but Femshepley is even rarer (I think it's just me, Revan654, Mysticgoha, and the artist above that does art for it)

Yeah that's true, but that's why I recently started making femshepley too. Even if I'm mainly a Mshep player..Femshep Ash seems like such a lovely combo to me, whether they are friends or more then just friends.

Yeah Ashley friendship is just as awesome as her romance. Even with a maleshep who either with Liara or just single. I can see if shepard marries someone else that Ashley would be his/her best man for the hell of it.

I think Ash suits a renegade Shepard better, or is that just me? Not Crazzzzzy renegade though. Nobody suits that guy.

True enough, Ash and Kaidan are not the most loved characters in ME (Garrus is.) But who cares? They're loved by some and we know they'll have a big role in ME3. Which is gewd, gewd, gewd.

Actually, I find ME2 more replayable than ME1. As, in ME1... I almost always make the same choices over and over (kill the rachni queen... save shiala... save wrex....etc) and the side quests bore me to no end. It's only saving grace to me is the overall story and the Ash romance. 

I find ME2 better in gameplay (combat) and the graphic experience (no copy/paste planets), better side quests (loyalty missions), and I tend to mix up my choices more... (Samara/Mornith, loyal or not, and I love changing up who dies on the SM). The biggest flaw in ME2 is the lack of Ashley... and of course the weakness of the overall story.

I always found ME2 to be more replayable, since, even on Horizon with Ash, you have alot more conbinations to work with then in ME1. The side quests in ME1 leave alot to be desired since the characters don't really speak that much besides "ready" and "you lead" when you talk to them. I see why they kept Ashley and Kaidan away from the Normandy (since everyone who lived on it could possibly die) but ti'd ahve been nice to get a reminiscing scene like Liara got where they just visit and retain their plot armor.

(Ashley would have moved on from that viewpoint anyway) It would be interesting to see him growing from a soldier, excited to join the team of Shepard, into someone who's dissapointed in Shepard, when he realizes it is not as he had imagined.

If he steals Ashley, there WILL be an unfortunate airlock problem, just when Vega is in there...Although, perhaps Ashley doesn't agree with that and since she's pretty much Shepards equal now (in status, she already was as a character in my opinion) I migth have to drop that idea. (So many ideas around Vega, I hope they'll release some more info on his character.)

I agree with this part and though I have hardly ever played any game with shooter mechanics before and had the typical knee-jerk reaction to ME2 and the changes they made, as most role-playing and story / adventure gamers, when I started to look at the game for what it is and not what is it not and simply started to enjoy what it offers, I eventually had more fun with it. At some point going through ME1 to create more characters feeled like a chore and I started to use Gibbed to change existing files to makes new Shepards to enjoy the many possiblities ME2 has to offer. (To put this in a little perspective here, after over 20 playthroughs ME1 wasn't fun anymore, but ME2 still is. Yeah, besides Dragon Age, I haven't used my gaming time for anyhing else than ME since I discovered it in Feb 2009.)

I get where you are coming from, I too like the gameplay of ME2 more, then that of ME1. I think a big part of it is the atmosphere, Mass effect 1 and 2 are pretty different in this regard, The main menuand it's music already says alot of it in my opinion, in ME1 it already puts me in a certain mood when I start playing. Plus I usually complete ME without doing loads of side missions, in ME2 doing the character side missions is almost obligatory to me and besides the story they can feel pretty repetative. I'm not sure if I can make it much clearer then that...it's hard to describe.

Anyway Ashley, Ashley, Ash. on topic.

@Dignam; I think it is unlikely Ash and Vega actually have much to do with each other, but hen again, doesn't matter. Shepard will set things straight. (That's the advantage of Shepard being a person everyone supposedly loves! aswell as it being the downside to the character.)

I still have what around? I'm not sure I follow......sorry Mega I tried to burrow 'the present', but it just keeps digging itself out of the ground again...perhaps I'll just lock it up inside a cupboard.

About the Pixie cut, I've decided I'm not a fan of it either, Ash can wear it but...only just.
