@Elek Well, you gave her a machine gun so technically you gave her a present and not a ''present'', It's funny how the word present is starting to lose any meaning for me.

@ADL; Yes, we need an Ash with ice cream pic! (Elek can you change the spooning into ice cream-ing? pretty please ? Although I'm not sure how many babies would've to be sacrificed for that...that must sound weird if you don't know the context, actually it also sounds weird if you do have context)

I gotta say. If there is ANY kind of music I want playing during the epilogue of the Mass Effect 3 - after the reapers are destroyed. It's this song. It makes me see this scene in my head, so clearly.

Shepard emerging wounded from the Normandy (landed/crashed on earth) medical bay, crew all part and applaud him as he limps through the ship with Ashley's help. He walks out the airlock and watches at the Reapers hollowed and powerless shells fall in a maelstrom of gunfire, MAC cannons and gadian turrets. At the end of it all, he's torn between laughing and crying with relief, pride, joy, and a flurry of other emotion that he cannot describe. The camera retreats, showing his and Ash's siluoutte. Shepard stands gingerly on his on and Ash removes her supporting arm, opting instead to interlock her fingers with his undamaged hand.

Serveral months later in a makeshift command centre - Shepard is offically cleared of all charges of treason and promoted - despite mass hysteria and outrage from the Batarains, the politicans aren't stupid enough to take down a galaxy-renown hero. Ash watches from the side, Gabriel standing next to her and her hand resting on his shoulder while they witness the trial.

I like that song and could picture it as an ending song too, but I think I would like something less bombastic more...something along the lines of 'vigil' Mass effects main menu music, that would make it feel more personal. I think less is more is appropriate after all the losses that have been made defending the galaxy. But that song does give both the emotions of happiness and sadness and that sjhould definitely be felt at the end of ME3 in my opinion.

I loved that description of how the ending would go and how you pictured Ash would be a part of it, that she's actually supporting him.
