Literally every time I play a BroShep, I try to make him look like me. Then he turns out looking Asian because all the eye choices do, and then I restart as the default. Every. Time.Aurora313 wrote...
It's at the point where I cant imagine Shepard with any other kind of face but the default... although I wouldn't mind if the default face became a little more ragged and unkempt.
I feel like it shouldn't be that hard to make a guy named "Shepard" look Irish.

Yes I like the choice and hate it at the same time, mainly because it isn't expositioned very well, you had the normandy and the entire crew on it plus shadow team (Shepard and co) and yet you can only save one of them. Now that's not my problem with it, but you didn't even try to save both. There might not have been enough time to get the normandy from one spot to the other (or something of the sort), but in such a case they should have explained that...that bothered me a little, the choice is still a good emotional high though and indeed a good example of choices that matter.xxSgt_Reed_24xx wrote...
Also, retconning the Virmire choice would be the dumbest thing ever...
it's one of the only choices that really matter in the games and to throw it out would be saying... "yeah, your choices really don't matter, sorry!"
I actually like Virmire... yeah, it sucks that we have to choose a squadmate to leave behind, but it really adds to the emotional side of the game. We need more choices like this imo... maybe not in squadmates but say... save this colony or this colony during the invasion (one has top galactic minds residing there... the other has important production capabilities for war) ... that kind of thing.
Kinda went off topic there, but w/e. lol
About the Sheps, I never use default, I always create my own....although my Femsheps usually look a lot like Ash at first
And this page is lacking Ash. I came across this (a few pages to late...but still.)

I had a really good Shepard the first time I played the first game. Eventually the computer it was on crashed and I lost all my Shepards. I tried recreating him but I still haven't been able to get it quite right. I got him to look vaugly decent in ME 2, but still his proportions irriitate me slightly. I just couldn't stand trying to micromanage his details too much longer. Unfortuantely, I tried finishing it before I was quite ready in ME 1 and he looked kind of like a muppet. For me Female Shepards tend to be eaiser becuase I just took one of the preset models and customized it a little and it looks good just like that.
You'd have to try very very hard to make femshep look ugly. No matter how you modify her, in 90% of the cases she looks pretty damn presentable. Unfortunately, Maleshep has the opposite statistic. You have to try very hard to make him look good. Its easier if you just stuck with the default face for Maleshep... aside from the fact that sheploo is pretty hot. I didn't think so when I started playing, but he grew on me after a few hours. But being far, he sucks when it comes to emotes. When he does anything beyond a smirk (grinning and smiling) he looks like he's plotting something indecent.

In ME3 I want my femshep to have long, shiny, flowing her like Ashley's new doo. Do you think Ashley would lend Jane Shepard some hair products? At the minute her hair isn't looking so good.

Yeah... You know for all the talk that's been going on here in knighnblu's thread (Is Ashley Still your girl?) and Made Knightwing (Restoring trust with the V S) .if someone were to ask me how Ash and Shep could patch things up.As upset and disapointed as i was with her on Horizon. If Shep returned to his captain's Quarters and the first thing he saw was Ash in his room , naked and looking at him like this. With those dark and beautiful eyes of hers.
She wouldn't have to apologize for what she said.I'd forgive her
I’m feeling suddenly inspired
----------------------------------------------------------
*Eight hours after the evacuation from Earth. Shepard steps into his quarters on Deck One. Ashley is sitting at the desk, wearing a dressing gown, her hair is damp from a shower. She is holding something in her hands.*
Shepard: Ash? What are you doing....
Ash: *Holding up Shepard’s picture of her* Found this next to your bed.
Shepard: ...It was hard to get to sleep without you.
Ash: Almost three years for me...a year and a half for you....and you still....?
Shepard: Always.
*Ash stands up, walks toward the fish tank. She stares at the fish swimming inside. The room is dark, lit only by the blue illumination from the tank. Shepard stands beside her.*
Ash: How does stuff like this happen? How did I change so much?
Shepard: *Puts an arm round her shoulders* We all change who we are. What we are never does.
Ash: *Pushes away and walks down the stairwell toward the bed* But you died, Skipper. You died and lived again. That’s not supposed to happen...it just doesn’t. I still can’t believe my eyes.
Shepard: *Follows her* You want me to tell you that I’m still me?
Ash: No...
Shepard: *Turns away, eyes slightly damp, begins walking away when Ashley speaks again*
Ash: *Her robe is lying on the ground, she stands at the foot of Shepard’s bed* I want you to show me.
Satisfactory?

Ash: What?
Shepard: there a problem, kiddo?
Gabriel: It's about the shortie.
Shepard: *more serious* What.
Ash: By god, Gabriel, if you've hurt her, I'll -
Gabriel: She stole my bed.
Shepard: Oh.
Ash: Oh - Suck it up! You're supposed to be a boy, aren't you?
Gabriel: But - it's my bed!
Shepard: Gabriel.
Gabriel: Dad.
Shepard: Suck it up. That's an order.
Gabriel: What the hell?! You serious?
Shepard: Do I look like I'm kidding?
Ash: Ok - enough. WHY is she in your bed.
*a second later*
River: *crying in the doorway, clutching a stuffed pink-purple hanar.* Mama! Papa! I had a bad dream! And Gabby wasn't nice!! *Shepard and Ash glare at Gabriel*
Gabriel: ... well, if you told me you had a bad dream I would've set up the spare matress and let you sleep in my room! You silly girl!
Shepard: -.-
Ash: *facepalm* Set up the spare bed and put her to sleep, Gabriel. That is an order.
River: *sniffly* c-can I have a hug first?

Well, the reason they couldn't try to save the other was b/c the bomb was about to go off... if they go back, the entire normandy will be destroyed, along with any chance of stopping Saren and Sovereign.
As for the Shepards...
This is my only decent looking dudeShep... yet he still looks fugly in certain cutscenes.
I've posted it before, so I'll just link it. lol
And my FemSheps almost always turn out to look like Ashley... b/c she's like... my ideal woman. lol
That and I almost always use gibbed to give her Ash's facial texture and lips. haha
My Femshep... doesn't have Ash in it, so I linked it.

@Reed;Yes, but The normandy could easily have gone to the one position, whilst Shepard and his team go to the other, the normandy is after all faster then Shepard on foot (I'd think), it might have been a riskier plan, but they didn't even consider it, it's like the Normandy with full crew wasn't there. Shepard, fought of geth and krogan then Saren and then rescued the teammate, in that time the normandy could have fought off the other geth and krogan and rescue the other teammate and get back to Shepard, they might not have been able to rescue the other because they had to go get Shepard, but they could have tried. It doesn't really matter though. (I like overthinking thingsxxSgt_Reed_24xx wrote...

That's actually the background of one of my head canon Shepards. He was starting to romance Ash, but left her to help set up the nuke because he thought it'd be safer, and had to leave her behind. Spencer Shepard has a lot of demons.

I always send the person I'm going to save with Kirrahe and the STG team. Then it's a numbers decision. Shepard can rescue the VS and the STG team, or one person sitting on a nuke. It's still an ugly choice, but it's a rational one.
I've said it probably a million times in this thread alone... but I always do the opposite. I save the person at the bomb to ensure that it is defended until the last possible moment and that it will, in fact, go off and destroy the facility and the genophage cure/krogan.
Whether Kirrahe said once it's set to go off, nothing will stop it.... I still say that the geth could easily overwhelm the VS and the team of two marines with them and hack the bomb. It's the geth... they can hack anything and adapt to many different technologies. They wouldn't be able to stop a crudely put together nuke? come on...
Besides... the STG team is saved either way if you complete all the little things like destroying the geth flyers.
Sorry, to basically repeat my other posts... so those who have read and responded before... just ignore it. (like you usually do!

That actually reminds me of a post I found rather irritating on a tumblr ask box. Basically, "What would you do if there was a Virmire 2.0 except harder because it would be between Wrex and Garrus?".
Uh, excuse me, I think you meant equally as hard as Virmire. Nerve of some people...
On any given playthrough, I would still pick Ashley...but that doesn't mean I don't lament losing Kaidan. I like that, no matter who is left behind, no matter the relationship, Sheaprd always has a pained, sombering expression when that fire blooms on the surface of Virmire.
