Just curiously. Does anyone know if different levels of difficulty increase the experience earned from killing mobs and quests in Mass Effect 1?

The latest twitter posts about Ashley being 'mature' and the one from Ken Thain about how he 'loves working with this lady' actually imply some very positive signs that may lead me to be more hopeful about Ashley in Mass Effect 3.

The first one about her being mature and reasonable could well just be code for 'written and designed to appeal to the pleasure centers of teenage boys' it could actually genuienly mean that she's less hot headed and passionate and more reasonable and ready to talk about things in a calmer straight manner.
If that is the case then it is very likely that the huge concern that Ashley's very mild 'xenophobia' (which has since become the primary topic of debate about the character) will become amplified into stereotypicial proportions as it becomes her sole character trait (a process known as Flanderization), might not actually happen.
Maybe she'll still have issues with aliens or maybe she will have moved on, but either way I do know that 'mature' and 'confident of herself' and 'reasonable' don't usually mesh with words like 'racist' and 'extremist' and 'n*zi'. Especially when you consider at least part of her hostility towards aliens is based on her own feelings of inadequecy, her actually being sure of herself would make a lot of that go away.
While, again, this could all be part of a blatant attempt to make her into a male fantasy but when choosing between two unpleasant choices regarding the fate of Ashley's character direction, I would rather see her be made into a pleasant non threatening male fantasy figure then her turned into a hateful xenophobic one.
If nothing else, it would be nice to see Ashley undergo a change, be more accepting of aliens and less likely to fly off the handle and even maturely explain and apologize for Horizon. Maybe it would finally be enough to finally end hostilities towards her.

Second, when the dev said 'I love working with this lady' it gave me another moment of joy. Because if developers are actually saying that they like working with the character it probably implies at least some degree of respect FOR the character in question. Which is good because if the developers are demonstrating a liking for the character it potentiall means she won't be handed a sh*t hand like last time, given that she's been promoted to Spectre and been given a full time squadmate role, I'm liking those odds.

While I'm not about to get anyone's hopes up (these tweets prove nothing except individual opinions at this point) all I will say is that, based on these tweets, it implies that the developers are actually liking using Ashley and are under the impression that they are steering her characterization in a fair and respectful way may imply that at least some of our potential worries about Ashley may be for naught.
I know it's been a sh*t storm of terrible for us of late, but I'm daring to be hopeful for the first time in a long time.

i like what they've done with her, and what it bodes for other hairstyles for femsheps too. i'm glad i have a playthrough where Ashley lived - should be fun!

It is 1 am and I can say with pride that I FINALLY finished Mass Efffect 1. Ash is ma interest (obviously) and All the quest carry-through things I wanted to get, I got.

Feeling pretty happy and pretty damn tired now.

Congrats then!)) Made it few days ago, now wish to try save evryone from my crew after Collector attack.

Ran into Ash on Horizon yesterday. I dunno what i wanted most: to cry or to beat head against the wall Seems that make my Shepard to stay faithful to her is the only thing i can do.

Huh, found out that i have never gained a paramour achievment. That means all my Shepards were faithful to Ash!))

Btw, I had an idea to make one walkthrough where Shep cheats on Ash (don't shoot at me!), just to watch in ME3 how Ash destroys Miranda (or Jack, huh))).

Ash: So... In engineering, eh?
Miri: None of your damn business!
Ash: I wouldn't be so sure... (*takes shotgun and pulls the trigger, Miranda shields hersef with barrier*)
Ash: Oh, you are a biotic... Well, how you will handle this? (*takes grenade launcher*)
Shep: Ash, we can solve it as mature adults!
Ash: No, we can't sir...
^ I know, it's not realistic at all, but... I just want blood today

Well that might end up being Ashley's blood as Miranda is a sentinel, she could easily overload Ashley's weapons with tech so they don't work and since she has bitoics she could just fling Ashley around the ship like a yoyo until she gets board. taht is if the situation tookplace in reality and enither character had plot armor. with plot armor they'd be evenly matched in everyway and fight to an epic draw that should appease both fanbases.
