Spartan III. I'm guilty of sometimes using her colour scheme on Reach Multiplayer. How could I NOT? White and Pink are right there in the customisation menu!

Looks like Admiral Anderson is in charge of the Normandy again, which means there's a good chance that Ashley is the new XO. Vega is Shepard's... Warden? I dunno but it explains why he was already with Ashley on the Normandy in the Earth demos.

Vega seems loyal enough considering he broke a TV when the news came on, stating that the batarians wanted Shepard's head. Lol

Now...I wonder why Anderson picked Ashley to accompany them to Earth...He's seems to be picking soldiers who are on Shep's side. Eh maybe I'm looking into it too hard.

Totally awesome comic, Completely awesome Character. Just love how he calmly ripped the TV out of the wall because he was sick of the Disingenous Assertions (Lol - ).

I reckon Shepard and he would develope a good camaraderie. Even though Vega was picked up to act as Shepard's Jailor/Warden, it would surprise me if the two didn't talk at least a few times (hard to imagine them just being silent as graves the entire time Shepard was imprisoned). Even if it was just the odd joke or the occasional update on the proceedings. Hell - Vega probably (or definately) has a huge admiration for the guy, I mean, you don't just tear out a perfectly good TV out of the wall over some random bozo, do you?

I know you guys are gonna hate me for this, but She's XO until Miranda gets back, unless Miranda's running cerebrus now which is why they haven't said anything about her, or unless She's immediately shows how she's grown from the beginning, then she might be able to handle all the paperwork my Shepard's gonna heap on the XO after they get out of jail which is mostly sending FU letters to the council and Udina.

Also it seems Anderson is surrounding Shepard with soldiers who like shepard so that when Shepard "breaks out" no one has to die. XD

Ashley: (sarcastic tone) oh no Shepard has overpowered me and escape her cell, I tried my best to stop her but she was too strong.
Vega: What we let her go-*elbowed in the ribs by Ash* I mean...yeah she was out of control, we couldn't stop her even with our guns.

Anderson seems to be finding soliders - Good Soliders - who believe in and would follow Shepard because they agree that the Reaper threat is legit.

So what I imagine happening is:

When Vega is assumed the duty of Shepard's prison guard, he begins to ask questions about what Shepard did (just a few odds and sodds.). This guy probably already has a hero-worship for Shepard anyway. Speeding up, the trial gets on the way. Reapers arrive, Shepard escapes to Normandy SR2(? or would it be 3 after it's reconstruction?). By this time, I would think that about 80% of the crew would be Shepard loyalists, the rest would still be under orders to keep the former commander in confinement. A mini coup happens after Earth escape. The new CO of the ship (if there is one) hates Shepard's guts, but when he tries to threaten Shepard: Ash, Vega, several servicemen and nearly every other marine on the CIC pull guns on the CO and shove him in the brig instead. Shep has his ship back, goes to work.


Or something like that. I might write a fanfiction based on it later.

The Ship and crew are Alliance. ME3 take place months after Arrival, so i'd say that the SR2 crew has all been broken up and have went their separate ways. The Alliance wouldn't have non-Alliance onboard, never mind in charge

Miranda won't be XO at all, it wouldn't fit. Besides she's not even on Earth at the time, she doing her own thing. I'd say Anderson has picked Ashley or Kaidan to be his second in command, it explains why they're on Earth too.

Also...yeah, I soooooo want to have the option of sending troll emails to Udina.

I can soooo see Ashley standing outside his cell with a mean as hell glare and this baby on her hip. She'll say something like "These bars won't save you, Y'know." *Turns to Vega* "Open the door Lieutenant. Now."

That's all well and good, but all of my Shepard's are spectre's, they got their statuses renewed so the chain of command on their ship is how thye want it and Miranda is XO until she finds something better. Or unless the VS can prove they can lead in Shepard's absence (which I've already had Ashley do in guns and Poems during ME1) As soon as her heels click on the Normady's floor, "XO Lawson is aboard". Or y'know for sh*ts and giggle Shepard mike make Ashley and Miranda Co-XO's that should be fun to watch.
