Ohhhh, come on you don't mean that. Come on, think about it. The vibe is perfect, and her voice is almost identical (she just needs to mellow out her accent a bit). During Battle LA (an awesome movie), I could have changed the voice of the main male lead to Mark Meer's and I would have been watching a Mass Effect movie.

If Michelle Rodriguez played Ashley, she would inevitably die at some point. I mean, has she ever played a character that didn't die?
Anyway, I agree with Made Nightwing... Wouldn't mind seeing her as Ash.

Why? Did they say there is no getting back together with Ash in ME3 if you had another romance in ME2? Or are you saying this just to bust my chops.

I wouldn't quite call it "cheating" when your SO is the one breaking up with you, which is what effectively Ash did on Horizon. Cheating on Liara, yes, I would call it cheating if the romance was Liara. Liara does give you a yummy kiss when you first see her on Ilium, so screwing around with someone else at that point I would consider cheating.

But with Ash, well basically, she says she doesn't know you any more, she refuses a direct request for continuation of the relationship, and so... yeah, she's breaking up with you, basically. If not breaking up, then requesting a pause in the relationship.

I would expect her to give me a hard time, but I do hope she's open to reopening it. We had something special.

I played ME1 with Ash, Tali, and myself as the core team. I romanced Ash, and when ME2 came along, I was so excited to see her during the opening sequence on Horizon. And then we all know what happened. I couldn't believe she wouldn't come back on board. Pissed off or no, Ash, it wasn't like you to just ditch me like that!

I went on the rebound to Tali. It made sense overall---the three of us'd taken on Saren together, and the bond I had with Tali was almost as intense. We connected instantly, and as of last year I fully intended to tell Ash to bugger off in ME3. I took her reaction in Horizon as a betrayal of what we had.

But now a year has passed, and over that year, I've slowly come to realize that Ash is the one, and has been the one all along. Tali needs to go become an Admiral. And have Quarian babies. And I need to go find Ash.

I think the moment I think of most is the "from the wreckage" moment in ME1... after defeating Saren, I crawled out of the rubble, and the smile on her face at that moment stayed with me, all throughout last year. I literally haven't loaded up ME1 in over 15 months, but I still think of that moment.

So yea, Ash---I've been a jerk. I messed around with Tali. And what you did on Horizon was a jerk thing too.

It's time we made up.

Sorry, but I completely agree with Badpie on the Michelle Rodriguez thing....

Come on! She's even got the tan, lips, voice and everything! Honestly I can't think of a better actor to play Ash. Plus she can yell pretty good in combat, something that the actor needs to be able to do...

Michelle Rodriguez is a good actress, but I dont think she could get Ashley 100 percent correct. She would nail the agressive and bad ass side of Ashley, but I dont think she could really perfom the more sensitive side of Ash. The best role I've seen Rodriguez perform where she was more sensitive was in Girl fight, and she was more aggressive than sensitive. I do feel sorry for Rodriguez, she performed such a bad ass role in her debut in Girl fight that becuase of this people only seem to cast her as a bad ass and dont seem to give her a chance for anything new. If Aliens was re-made she would be Vasquez.

Anyway, I agree with Made Nightwing... Wouldn't mind seeing her as Ash.

She lived in the Battle of L.A you know...... She was made of some pretty hard stuff.
 
If Michelle Rodriguez played Ashley... you can bet that she wouldn't be the one to die on Virmire. I'm sure that girl is expensive. Why hire her and kill her off?

But anyway... I'm sure Ashley won't even play apart in the movie (which sucks.) And if she does, it'll be some person I've probably never heard of or seen before that will be really, really suckish in comparison.
