THere are things I want to write that involve time on Intasei but I cannot bring myself to do it before I at least finish Untitled. GUH.

Well - Shepard has to earn an income somehow, I have a feeling he's not going to be welcome in the Alliance that much - although they promoted mine to Major to throw him a bone (He was due for Promotion even before the Normandy trip but he declined cause he wanted to work with Anderson). He'd have to stay with the Spectres but be sort of a 'last-resort' kind of thing... considering his trackrecord of... erm - very public demolitions of dangerous elements. (aka. Blowing up sh!t)

Mine would want to keep in the action of being in the military and he'd totally sit around hoping for a bat signal to come and save the galaxy again. Like, aurora said... all of the events would make him an adrenaline junkie. 

This is the beauty of head canon... my Ash could... (well, maybe not the stay at home wifey type, but definitely a wife and mother that works)... not in the foreseeable (or however you spell it) future, but she definitely would at some point. She 's family and would want to have a big one of her own. Probably 3-4 of her own.

My Shepard would both be welcoming and dreading if the bat signal came. Welcoming it to fuel his adrenline addiction (lol - he used to do Parkour as a kid too) and dreading it because it nearly always falls to him to save the galaxy.

Hey - at least adrenline addiction is better than red-sand. I've read the books, that sh!t is really hard to break from (Paul Grayson was only an occasional addict and it gave him hell).

Ash would be a good mother - hell she takes care of Gabriel and River while Shepard's dead and sometime while he's alive to, but she's not smothering or over protective, Gabriel has that covered.

Gabriel: My dad's better, by far. And my step-mum too. They're damn near invincible.
Kid #1: You don't have a dad!
Kid #3: Yea! You're an orphan from the slums, you're a dirt-eater like everyone else from earth!
Shepard: Hey kiddo - Ready to go visit your step-mum?
Gabriel: Sure Dad
*kid #1-3 speechless as they walk out.*

EDIT: I would like to remind people that Gabriel is in the Ascension Project which is a broading school like insitution - therefore he's used to not seeing his father.

Gabriel: My dad is a Spectre. He died at one point. That just pissed him off. He can charge through matter and sent enemies away in shockwaves. My mum was a wh0re. My step-mum however can drill you between the eyes at a hundred yards, became humanity's second Spectre and makes reciting poetry bad*ss.
