Otherwise it really is not important enough to cheapen the actual story with stupid 'brainwashing' plot twists. At least in my opinion.

Might wanna get use to it... it's Bioware's favorite "plot device" in the series. Why did this happen? Indoctrination.... why is so an so doing this? Indoctrination... How th- INDOCTRINATION! :wizard:

Also, Cerberus in ME3... could very well be indoctrinated. I see them using it a lot in ME3. :pinched:

See this goes down that road where I ranted that if TIM was now after Shepard following his "Shepard is our only hope" speech then what a crap story ... and if he is indoctrinated a double crap story!!!! Then it looks like it may have happened. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!

Then I stopped, took some deep breaths and figure that there will be a very valid reason that TIM/Cerberus has changed course and now against Shepard. That TIM just isn't some stupid enemy because that would make Shepard a stupid hero. No, there must be a good reason.

If Ash goes against Shepard then there will be a good reason too. Right? Posted Image

Shepard: *walking up to Alliance Admirality board in full armor*
Admiral one: Shepard - We need to know everything you know about the Reapers.
Admiral two: Tactics, Techology, methodology and any weaknesses you have discovered.
Shepard: *nods* Ok. Ok - but first - I'll take my ship -
Admiral three: The Normandy was designed by the Alliance Technical Division. You can't just -
Shepard: As I was saying. I will take my ship, the Normandy. I want Lieutuenants Williams, Vega and Former Lieutenanat Monreu as part of the crew compliment. Oh - and these charges against my crew and myself? They have to be dropped, completely.
Admiral one: That's extortion!
Admiral three: It's small price to pay for survival. Done.
Admiral two: Agreed.

I dunno - was watching transformers and thought that this would be something a paragade-renagade shepard would do.

Good ol' Ash. My favorite character AND LI. Dunno why, but she got me. I even couldn't cheat on her in ME2, even if it was close - Miranda and Tali, both were difficult to avoid ;)

Ashley: Finally I got you back, Skipper!
Shepard: Great to have you back on board, Lieutenant Williams. The Normandy wasn't the same without you.
Ashley: Like the good ol' times. Kickin' someones butt, shooting with my boomstick, poetry ...
Shepard: I missed you.
Ashley: I missed you too.
Shepard: Do you remember that night ... the night before we went to Ilum?
Ashley: The night a well known Commander met his love?
Shepard: *smirks*
Ashley* *gazes*
Joker: I can hear you. Both. Now get OUT of MY cockpit!!!!
EDI: Shepard, I'm sorry for Jeff, but he's mad at any couples since I dumped him last week.
Joker: *switches off loudspeakers* Argh! Broke my thumb again!

ADL I just looked at the OP and noticed you have the old Ash group on there, it's not really in any use anymore. I suggest you add the AKL group to the OP and The supporting Ash for ME3 group.

Don't you just hate it when you're on a roll with the typing, ideas are following out so easily and then suddenly you've got nothing?

God it seriously sucks.... -.-

Oh yes, I know the pain Posted Image It's my current problem actually: I'm not sure how I should continue my story, I just draw a blank so I'm thinking it's time for a break from that particular story.
It's just as bad as when you have a great idea or beautiful sentence thought up whilst not working on it and then no matter how hard you try it doesn't come back when writing. Usually I just remember it partially', but it never is as beautiful as it once was.

Lol, this ended up as a bit of an off-topic rant Posted ImagePosted Image

Well - the Majority of the story has already been written for me. I'm just adding a new character in (though not really, she's my Fem!shep) to shake up the dynamic as much as I can without breaking the boundries already set by the game. As Mordin says 'Not developing, modifying. Much more difficult. Working within preset confines of existing. A hundred times the complexity.' - I'm just trying to make sure my character doesn't come off as too much of an angst magnet or an empath. Its surprisingly difficult. And working with a new keyboard that I'm not used to using (my flat one died this morning - split breakfast on it... -.-) it really screws up my typing pace.

Right well, this shall be my last post on the Ashley thread for about three weeks as I am heading off to Japan for an extended holiday, I'll probably still be lurking in case any new information comes along (incidentally if any new information Ashley related or otherwise should come along, a little PM telling me about it would be well recieved and I'd be grateful) but I doubt I'll be posting much.
In any case, one last parting image before I leave:

I think I will add the AKL group, but Not the "supporting" group since they have chosen to disassociate themselves from this thread and have, on multiple occasions, insulted various posters in the confines of that group. So, to OP I go. In the meantime have an Ash.

Enjoy the trip V-rex! (and the rest of the holiday too Posted Image)

@Aurora; I consider myself lucky for not having encountered that situations a lot yet, but modifying/improving (If it needs it) a story is usually the hardest part of writing it and very time consuming.

@ADL; You know I like the look of light armor the best, because it's a little simpler and I think really the way the designer originally intended it to look. The slimmer fit helps too ofcourse...

Intentions? nnooo...What kind of intentions could I possibly have? *Starts thinking about the kind of intentions I could have*

You know it's not that slim a fit if you really think about it... Posted Image...suddenly I understand Bioware's thought process.

*sigh*

How's that possible? A nearly-30y-old-dude with a girlfriend does have some odd feelings about losing Ashley in ME (and most likely in ME3 when taking the wrong path)?

Shepard: That's because you are me.
Me: Riiiiight. Do I look like you? My belly - no sixpack. See?
Shepard: Woaah ... hold it under control!
Me: So - I am not you.
Shepard: You are. Okay, you didn't get my looks or Ashley ...
Me: ... *sigh* ... I wonder if I should have a savegame with a virmired Ash.
Shepard: Never.
Me: Never.
Kaidan: I've got a bad feeling about this ...

Oh...My....God. I think they're having sex!

Noo...You are getting it all wrong! You see Ashley went to have a shower, so she stripped nude (Hot!) and stepped under the shower only to find out it didn't work, then she remembered Shepard had once said "you can always use my shower if the others are out of order." (Hot?) So she went over to his quarters and stepped under his shower leaving a note that she was under his shower. unfortunately the lock was broken and Shepard, still half asleep, just walks in on her , also wanting to shower (Hot!) from shock he slips and falls onto Ashley and the both feel on the ground. So you see it's all innocent reallyPosted Image

^No... they... are like totally having sex.

The look on Ashley's expression doesn't exactly say 'OMG WE FELL' It's more or less says 'Take me Shepard because we are having sex and Brainheart is all wrong'

No shower slip ups for ME3!

No shower slip ups for ME3!

Well I can alter it into a:  Ashley: 'Ooh' giggles 'we fell. Whatever should we do?' *nudge-nudge, wink-wink*

I'm not willing to alter the situation any further, it is clearly what happened...and why did you include me in that sentence in that way.Posted Image...You know I want lots of sexytimes Ash! you now I do. *ahem* Posted Image

Actually Ash has had a pretty harsh life I'd think, but yeah I wonder if that will effect her in ME3.

@Mega; Hmm I do have to admit, I kind of like the simplicity of the idea... and the sex part that aswell. Hmm this makes one think...were do you all think that the romance scene will or should find place?
